~O a s i s o f H o p e~

Summer Oasis was not smiled 'pon when she was brought into this world. The Appaloosa femme was abused, beaten and raped for 3 long years. Under that wrath of many cruel stallions, she bore sons and daughters, of which many she did not know as they grew up, for they were taken from her. Oasis withered, physically and mentally, submitting to the mascu’s, allowing them to control her life, or suffer their consequences. Until a fire tore the herd apart, and the Appaloosa mare took her chance and fled. And by some miracle stumbled 'pon Night Sky.

There, she found her guardian angel, for not only was she saved from her life of misery, not only did she believe in herself again, but Oasis found love. She found Windago. The passion and love they had between them was admired and stead-fast. While they had their ups and downs, Windago remained lovingly patient, helping her overcome her fears and mental scars from the past. Eventually, Oasis gave birth to a beautiful daughter; Miracle, and a loving son; Apollos. But their wondrous love stretched further than that, and they adopted Meg and Corbett’s young twins; Thebis and Akkan, into their loving family.

Their life together was perfect, and of course the trio was not complete without dear, feisty Aurora. While she and Oasis had a rather intense bitch fight at the very start of their relationship, they soon became the best of friends, and shared much laughter, and tears. T’was from this lovely tale that romance sprung between Miracle and Anubis; Aurora’s son.

Love still sprung in the most unlikely places, when Oasis’s long lost son; Cobalt, returned, and fell for the entrancing Aurora.

But disaster ripped the happy family apart, as a storm wrecked the island. The equines were shaken, and the mighty, long-ruling King of the Isle fell ruin to the bitter storm to save his beloved herd.

Oasis fell to pieces with her loss, and knew life was just not worth living without her love. She went, alone, from Night Sky, to live out her days in piece. She felt too wretched to be around loved ones, Oasis felt so twisted and guilty inside, that she would be alive whilst her beloved was taken. None can know the full extent of her grief. But the twist in the tale is around the corner, for Oasis did not die alone, but the Appaloosa found her daughter; Elegy. Simply by chance. With her dieing breath, Oasis told Elegy the story of her family, to let her daughter know of her half-siblings. And live on dear Oasis’s memory.
