eh one thing you have to know about corpse is that she doesn't go along with everything, woo! go rebel Corpse lol.
Though i do see where corpse is coming from. You were co-admin waaaay back when Bayard (err) was in charge? Well that was like a billion years ago so when you all of a sudden do come back it's like your right at the beginning again. New. And by then trying to give us lots of things to change... well nse has changed alot since Bayard, for the better.

And for corpse's first post, she wasn't [in my eyes] doing anything wrong. Just her usual self which is why i luff her. But she kind of seemed to go ott.

Corpse dear, please be nice ^^; Im not here to join the argument, if I wanted to I could ramble on for ages cause I myself like what Elle has done for us, its very nice. Exept for that theres only actualy been two leads to the shores lawl, yer...But im just being picky. Well dont luffly. ^^ And yes, Kindred is hot headed, though I admit, I can be too, the main reason for being banned on other sites. oO; At least you guys luff me. ^^}

Well, I think its very sweet of Ellie to take up her time to present her ideas. Although I do feel, where it may be a bit more profesional, I don't think it would be worth the effort. For example, with terra's like the Tropical Island, Crow would have to keep altering it, as the Isle is currently drowning. etc. etc

And for such boards like Game Information, is that heading not self-explanatory enough for you. Even the newest, most inexperienced roleplayers must know what that means. And if they don't, well, what better persuasion for them to explore the boards and find out for themselves?

And also, we would sadly miss Crow's own personal mindset and quips, where else would you see this?

I think being a roleplay game that's different and individual, may be more important than descriptions...

Also, whilst we're in the mood for putting helpful hints, Elle, on your rpg, despite how you love your descriptions, the Isliton home page does not explain what type of rp it is. OK, so its in a city, so are most stray cat roleplays, and only after sifting through the very detailed board descriptions, could I hazard a guess at it being human.

Anyway, this is just my point.

<sub>Thanks Hazel *huggles*. To be truthfully honest, i don't mind swearing at all, hell i do it most of the time, but you just have to open your eyes to what other people think as many people are brought up to not swear etc. BTW that was ony for the out of characters boards XD

I'm not trying to tell you to change things, it was a simple suggestion to what i have learnt over the years, i did not get 300 hundred and odd members by doing everything right, its all been hit and miss, i just thought it would share my sucessful things with you to try and help you make this site, more apealing, i'm not saying its not, because its lovely, just about the only one on the net that is realistic, i just think with more 'lengthy' looking posts, it brings in people, which it does do, as i have proof.

I'm just saying, to be really truthfull, and this is not in anyway a dig at this site at all, hand on my heart, NSE could be a lot more active, i just think that you could make it that extra bit by just trying to improve on things that other people have tried and tested and know it works. I'm just trying to get you to see it from guests terms and others, i have held many polls and it does indeed help, thats one of the ways i found they all prefer longer descriptions, even if they dont read them, i don't tee hee (lol) but it just appeals to them, and so i tried it, and within a matter of two days i have 70 something more members to prove for it.

I'm just trying to share my successful things and attractions on role plays to you out of pure kindness because i would love for this site to really work out after you lot putting so much hard work into it, i just hope you can see i am not trying to be rude, critising (and yes my spelling sucks) or anything, apart from suggestive in a nice way and kind.

And sorry if i flew of the handle at your Corpse, really i am, i hope we can be friends, its just i spent about forty five minutes doing that whole post and i felt like it had just been thrown back in my face.

Well i just wanted to add checking your site again i found the lengths a little too long. You described some of the ooc boards a little too significantly and i really don't think nse gets that. I'm sure not all of your members are active and the members we have at nse always -or usually- give great posts. It doesn't matter how many people you have. 200 of your people could be 6 line posters.

It is not noticable, I can't see at a glance where you're refering to. And when you are searching rpg's to find something interesting, you are looking for something that grabes your attention.

Also, I am a member of a rpg with over 600 members, and they have short desriptions. The general board descriptions are no more than 1 line long!
You can't rate your success on one factor, and really, I don't think desciption length is that big of a deal.

I'm glad NSE is small. I mean... it's not tiny... but it's like... comfortable. With so many members it's like 'Who the Hell are you?', but here... it's... it's homey. That's the word. And everyone is just one big family. ^^

I have been here for like, ever. I was one of the first 10 members to join, and I have been here since. I even helped rebuilt this place, and alot of the descriptions are made by me. I really like meh descriptions..*strokes*...I dunno. I'm keeping my nose out of this, because I am the "nice mod". heh.
