WE NEED A PLOT!

YOU GUYS! I mean for the WHOLE site, like the gaia, that affected US ALL! I think that would better then just having one place have one plot...

Funny enough, its kinda hard to think of a plot that will run smoothly and affect everyone.

Yeah. The mods had that idea. We were going to have Ciggeratte; my crazy mare. Go off and scare and steal foals. Then there would be a hunt for her; they will find them at the Dark Woods in a cave, and then kill Ciggeratte. To save the foals from future problems we were going to make a place where they could grow up and learn safety until they were 2 years of age. We were thinking of a "teacher" and everything. It just never got carried out.

I'm better at creating drama for people, not horses. I was acctually thinking about a crazy mare stealing foals, and when i came here to post it... PLAH! It was posted. Like... intense de ja vu. Or whatever.

Mm, we do, do need indeed.

The problem with a lot of plots though is people don't want to relenquish (sp?) control of their characters. See, if we had some looney trying to steal foals, a lot of players would be like 'Nooo! Annie escapes be running away all innocent and annoying like.' And I think we still lack foals.

A Non-Player Character could add to the game as well. Although typically NPC's can godmod or powerplay, so they can not only be all powerful, they can control your character as well (kind of like the Gaia). In a 'The eagle flew down and with a swipe of its talons struck down its opponent' kind of way.

However if we want a looney to go picking up mares, why not elaborate? Why stop there? That would involve very few people with the very few youth we have. If any sort of kidnapping goes one, I'd think it would be better to have more than one horseh being like 'Mwahahaha -steals-', but perhaps a team, however small. And maybe not only steal foals either. And whoever was kidnapping would need a cause, even if it is a chemically imbalenced one. XD

Moving on. On mare's being say, stolen, from another herd, I don't know why this doesn't happen. Any lead could strut in and steal mares, I think the rules were modified for that to happen. Maybe we should have a system, for more subtle steals, instead of outright 'Grr, -fights-'?

Just my two sense. The wheels in my head are turning.

Like leads steal leads, and betas stallions steal from other herds. So it would be cool

Like to strike a daeal with a memeber, hold a mare, or stalion for 'ransom'

I like the ransom idea. That would be interesting, to see how the bargaining and negociations went.
