Oo, but love was just so hard to find Until you came along into my life Then I thought I would lose my mind When you said that you wanted to be mine And ever since that day I’ve been hooked And nothin’ could turn me away This livin’ with you’s like a dream come true And it grows more and more every day
Just a Fool in Love
.Painted. vixen plodded slowly into the lands, head held high and audes relaxed. Doeful eyes scanned the surrounding area, her patched pelt shimmering in the low sunlight. The sunset stained her white mixed bodice crimson, andher eyes reflected the light, giving of an angered auroura. But she was nothing of the sort. All the anger, hate and milice in her life seemed to have gone, in place was a lulled emtion, sweet in her lips and prancing upon her mind. Was it love? It couldnt be, for the shire had never flet that emotion before, and doubted she ever would. Besides, the stag she had met was way too young, just five or so, she was nearly double at nine. A snort echoed from her kissers at the thoiught of beiung his mate. It was too...wierd, he was her friend, her only friend. And maybe that was the cause of such feelings towards him.
She shook the thoughts away, instead concertrating on the romantic atmosphere, though it wasnt very good to rid herself ully of the thoughts. Her life, she knew, was soon to end. She was old, weary and unwanted. The only babe she had possessed was dead, cursed as a still born to Bayard, to rapist. Another snort emitted,a ngry at all the brutes that had done her wrong in her lieftime. Seydi could just be one more of them. But he had saved her life, had he not?
Oo, I’m reachin’ the highest of highs Every time I look in your eyes Ask how I feel I can say it out loud I feel like a million inside I never thought this could happen to me You got me just where you want me baby For your love I would do anything Every night I’m a fool for your love yeah

Lurching from the over growth he kicked the ground in annoyance. The mare he was talking to friendly had just ignored him and he hated that. Fine if she wanted to be like that that was just... fine. Who needed her anyway? A lonesome mare stood half way through the distance. Was Dusk desperate or just looking for company? He did not know. He just wanted someone to talk to and maybe run with and faes were the best options since he always fought with stallions.
Prancing up to her he bowed politely. At this stage no intentions what so ever reached his head and he was quite happy with that. I be dubbed Dusk and what must a mare like yourself be dubbed? he asked hoping he wasn't to sound rude. He lowered his crown awaiting an answer before he ate.

Audes twitched as the shire beast turned, another young brute had addressed her. Lucky for him that she was no longer conceled her angered at the wolrd. Seydi had saved her from that fate not loing ago. She snorted though, for these young brujos were all to rude for the old mares liking. Heaving her lame barrel 'round she pondered upon Dusks question, for a moment not wanting to answer him. But alas, she did, with no enthusiasm.
"Rain."
Like with Seydi, the grey brute, she just answered with a single word. Her name was short, unmeaningful and dull. But she didnt care, not for her own namesakes or the brutes. She turned away and began to stride from him. The stag seemed too eager to talk to her, and the draft mare just wasnt interested. Her mind pondered over Seydi and Dustin. Two so unalike in all ways. The black brute who had given up all hope of finding her soul, killing himself before they even had a single child. He was a true idiot, she could see it now. And Seydi, what with him? He was king, honest, and though he knew her not, wished to see her safe and happy, saving her from the same fate that took her mates life. She wouldnt leap from that ledge as he had done, not now that she had found him. Seydi was her love, she knew it. But was it foolish to love so easily, as she had done before? Would it end in sadness, grief, or death?

Dusk's aud approached forwards to gauge in her name... Rain. Sadness pondered her orbs of the shire beast. This mare was not the one for him, he knew. She seemed to be one that was perhaps unlucky in love with the way she had just spoken. He walked forwards, orbs full of curiosity and he knew he wanted to help her. Rain... What be wrong? she asked softly. His big headed personality completely vanished and he was like another horse. He was suddenly the kind and honest and helpful stag' though he knew he would never stay that way.

Oh geez, another 'helping hand' to guide her on her way. Was she realy so pathetic? Yes, she had been nearly about to leap of the cliff side when Seydi arrived to talk her out of it, but right now she wanted to walk and ponder over the handom young brute, but be annoyed and 'helped' by some stranger who did not know her! She snorted, eyes blazing, and she turned to him.
"Nothing stag, now leave me be! Can you not see that I wish to be alone!"
She reared over the arabian like thunder, her shire bodice much arger, older and stronger than his. She landed close to him, but not near enough to cause him harm. He was just another youngester, worth nothing in the painted mares sand eyes. She wanted Seydi. But she knew, deep within, that he did not love her back. But atleast they were friends. Forever....She was only ever happy with him and so, if he stuck with her, she would die happy....

Soon back to his old self he walked away a little and then turned, he really wasn't in the mood to run after mares that shook him off. Fine have it you way. I try to help and it all gets thrown back at me. If you want to be so frigging miserable then fine! He shouted angrily. Bad day yes. Though he was just upset. For what? To be ignored when he tried to be helpful. He turned, glancing at her beautiful shire boice one last time and then he was gone. Galloping across the rocks and leaping off a shallow edge. Landing on sand, picking himself up he galloped away.
