[Occ; Aw...This is so sad, poor Thebis is going to die in the flames. -tear- How ever so sad.]
Life was so cruel, no? Today it was. Today was the day life took away another. Today it was him. The last of her kin besides his brother, and he would be swept away from the earth to his final resting place. A place that his burnt eyes could never see.
He raced umong the trees, the leaves and grasses blowing up behind him in the wind as he raced. His muscular bodice pushing him faster, faster, faster. There was a distance crash, as a tree fell, flames leaping higher all around him. Whinnying panickedly, he sped up. His long creamy tail and tressels danced in the wind. His tail was burnt halfway up, actually only a little long hairs danced so you couldn't say his tail was "long" anymore. His blue eyes were wide in fear and shown with white. "Mother, help me!" He cried out as he raced, his hooves not noticing the ground was no longer grassy. He didn't know where he raced was his death. The ground was coal black and burnt, the flames had already raced through here and now they were coming back, chasing him. Mocking him as he ran.
His nares were flared out, and his ears where pinned to his skull as he swung around a corner, he slammed on the brakes. In his blue eyes you could see the wall of flames that burned up the trees and ate away the food. He stood there, looking up at his death. Backing up slightly, he yelped and spun around. More flames. Whinning worriedly, he looked around. He was completly surrounded, no way out. His eyes watered as the flames ate up his oyxgen and he began to hack and cough. Lowering his dial, he tucked it into his panting chest. This was the end. He knew it. Closing his eyes, he waited. Opening them, he looked around, his eyes wet from the smoke.
There was a loud crack that sounded out, and he jerked his skull around to see a tall redwood pine leaning down to him. Falling before him. With a scream that peirced the air forever, the tree fell. Underneth it's burning contains could be seen a stallion of a rare beauty. His creamy tassels spilled out from under it. His blue eyes ever staring out at the flames, only they were dull and lifeless. A tear like substance slide from his eye, it was only the water the came from the flames. He would finally be with his mother and father, as he body began to burn.
Thebis.
There was life here once.
The tension, the harshness of life,
Lost in the flow of time.
Now comes crumbling down.
The land will be covered in darkness
Premonitions of sorrow and anger.

I wish I could have stayed
Long enough to say,
I love you.
One last time.
Long enough to say,
I love you.
