Crimson bodice layed upon the ground, honey filled globes looked out into the sky lifelessly, rib cage rising and falling belieing the lifeless appearing state of the buck. A sigh escaped him, sounding horribley loud in the silence of the night, he rolled over onto his other side and grunted a little. Lids slowly slid down over the honey orbs as the stag fell to sleep, muscles twitching a bit before relaxing.
. . . D r e a m i n g . . . ----
Inconnu, you've changed! What happened to the sweet polite colt I knew?
Cora screamed, looking upon Inconnu and staring deep into his pools. He lowered his dial before arching a brow and looking back to her.
He grew out of it, Cora, he grew into a strong and capable stallion. No one cared for him when he was that polite and caring soul, but now, NOW they care! They love him for being so strong and capable of handling himself in a fight!
The young stallion retorted, staring at the creamy fae with a aggrivated but justified look. His plume lashed against his flanks, a vein in his thick nape bulging as his temper grew.
Inconnu, You never grew up, you began to hide, hiding behind a mask and trying to appear bigger and better then you are. Yes, you may very well be strong, you'r a stallion, all stallions are strong, but you are -not- capable of handling yourself. Look at yourself now, Inconnu, you'r shaking from anger and rage! The most you are now is cocky, and too full of yourself to realise it and try to better yourself then to follow those ways you are accustomed to now. The other's filled you'r head with nonsence just because you got into a fight and rose from it as the last one standing. But you let it go to you'r head and now are to far gone for me to help...
The creamy-painted Cora said, orbs giving a last plead to the heavens before she pushed past the burgundy brute and then galloped to the edge of the forest. Inconnu barely had a moment to let her words sink in before his heart felt as if it was tore inhalf, a scream cutting through the air as a wolf lunged upon Cora and pulled her to the ground. The firey stag lunged towards the woods and galloped with amazing speed to the down mare's side, but it was already too late, she had passed over. He brushed his mug against her cheek, whickering softly, his auds flicked uncertainly before he turned away and trotted away, his ego was bruised from her words, and his soul torn from loosing her.
----
The sahib's hide was blotched with sweat, breathing heavilly as he awoke with a start, honey hue'd globes ringed with white. The buck pulled himself up, tagging his flanks with his hock-kisser sharply, as he broke the silence of the night with a long deep whinny, orb's filled with pain as he quieted and slowly took to grazing. If anyone had seen this and acted as though they had he would - of course - act as though he hadn't done anything and be his cocky self. Although now he was only cocky to bother people he either was not fond of or didn't know well enough to be kind and sweet to. Cora's words had stung him and her death had battered him and he carried an emotional scar from the ordeal but few knew of it at all.

Ivory stilts crept out over the sands. Her deep ginger optics overlooked the bodice laying there in front of her. Gentle ripples erupted from beneath her coat, soon they came to a halt. Everything stood calm. Soon after she dipped her crown to the ground. She snatched up some of the grass, and enamels ground them into paste before she finished. . . D o . I . K n o w . Y o u . . Tag lashed at hard crimson flanks, dentals tearing at the salty stalks of grass. An aud flicked to the way of the beaut who came onto the beach, although the rest of the stag remained still except the chewing of his jaws. Suddenly the wind blew from the vixen's direction and Inconnu turned his head to catch the scent better, and his dial snapped up - tresses flying through the air like dancing flames - pools widening as they locked onto the mare.
Sand gritted beneath the large scythes of Inconnu as he slowly walked towards the fae, nape and dial lowered and tilted curiously to the side.
Do I know you?
Bass tones filled the air, breaking the silence of the cool night.

The wind tugged restlessly at her banner. Playing about her ivorn bodice. Her crania come up from the salt flavored grass, optics settled upon the bod of the stallion. Her talons shifted lightly as a snort erupted from her nares.
I should hope so Inconnu. We've known each other for the longest time. But you probably still don't remember do you? That thick skull of yours.
Cora stated. Her mind open to the world. Nothing held back. Her hazel orbs unwavering from the bod of the stallion, whom she had known since he was a colt. When he was innocent.

Narez flared at the remark from the fae, firey forelock hiding honey-soaked globes. A dagger pawed the ground before him as he shifted his weight comfortable to his quarters.
Still a smart mouth, aye Cora?
His voice was calm, although it bore a slightly teasing melody. Harks pitched towards her as his dial lowered slightly.
I thought you died.
Orbs looked deeply into the snowy fae's own, a low whicker escaping him. His chest felt as if someone repeatedly kicked it as he stood there before her. His long plume played about his hocks while his long tassels streamed around his thick nape. Blood pigmented hide quivered, bod swaying uncomfortably.

Plume lashed up like a hazy mirage behind her as his words struck her auds. Her nares flared as a snort brushed through them.
Aye, that I am. You haven't changed much either by the looks.
Cora stated cooly. Her words spoken with a twinge of anger buried in every syllable. Her hazel optics swept over his expressions before returning to their previous position.
You thought wrong. Maybe you should have done something rather then walk away. You could have at least pretended to care.
The poisonous lyrics sliding from her tongue and into the air. They ate away at the good vibes surrounding the area, like cancer to a brain.

Her cold angry words stung him, but regardless of that he rose his head to the heavens in his proud way, ears pinned back against his skull as his silky locks of firey chestnut mane danced in a strong wind, forelock and other long bits of mane blew around his honey coloured eyes and over the broad white blaze that streaked down his face.
If I hadnt cared I wouldnt have gone to check on you! But you know, when one thinks they have lost someone, someone they deeply care about, is dead they don't want to stick around!
He snapped, words seeming to come out in a snarl. His long tail popped up and down and then to the sides, snapping each time it touched his rough coat. Inconnu let out a low grunt as he shook his head and neck wildly before he walked to the side and then back, his eyes on Cora the whole time. Slowly after a few moments he stopped and looked at the mare with a funny look on his face.
Cora... Really. If it had been me who had been attacked by that wolf and had gone down, would you have really came to see if I was dead or not?
The look in his eyes planly said that he didn't think she would, with the way she'd stormed off that day after the arguement. His ears relaxed and rose from being pinned and flicked slowly, waiting for a repley from his old friend... Though she probably hated him with all of her being.

She blew hot air from her nares and stared at him. Then the question came. Complete silence. Her gaze wavered away from him for a while before returning to the crimson stag.
No. Most-likely not. Seeing the way you were acting then.
Cora told him. She felt a slight pinch of pain inside as those words came out, but she ignored it. Her gaze was now glued to Inconnu. A breeze tugged relentlessly at her banner, making the strands blend with her cream colored coat.

Inconnu cast his gaze to the ground, ears facing his quarters while his tail flicked in circles around his hocks. His expression changed from that cocky, proud and slightly angered look to one of shame. His thick neck lowered, his head hovering near his knees as he continued to look at the sandy ground he stood on.
I wouldn't have blamed you if that had happened in stead.
He said quietly, pawing the ground softly before raising his head to stare out to the ocean, ears pricked towards the waves as they crashed into the shore noisily. The sun made his coat seem to dance with flickers of flames and lit up the honey hues of his eyes. A very small, barely noticeable, smile graced his face before disapearing within him.
I suppose I should have listened to you and let you chew me out then go to my old ways before I'd gotten all... Stupid.
He turned his head back her way and looked her in the eyes before looking back to the ocean. He pawed the ground and sent a large spray of sand into the air and watched it fall and settle to blend in with the other grains of the golden turf. He turned from the water and walked slowly towards Cora and reached his muzzle out to her shoulder, head and neck low and curving as if shying from her teeth, and then brushed her shoulder in a soft nuzzle. He backed away rather quickly, hooves sinking into softer sand and making him slow down a bit.
Sorry Cora.
He'd never apologized to a person with sincerity filling his voice and eyes until now. For once he seemed to be put in his place. 'I wonder if she'll think I'm putting on a show, or being truthful with her...' he mused silently, his eyes dancing over her face.

Labrums eyed him curiously as he reached in to nuzzle him. Her bulk rippled as he touched her pelt. Then settling as he scurried back a safe distance away from her. A snort brushed through her nares and cold orbs scanned his body quickly before looking into his optics.
Yes, you should. Because now I have scars that are your fault.
Cora said with a slight laugh. She wasn't good at jokes, just wasn't her. Her labrums then travelled up his body before etching their way to the sea. She heard his apology, but shunned it. Seeing as he never ment any previous apologies..that she knew of.

A smirk danced across his mug, ears pricked towards her while his warm honey eyes looked into her cold ones. He gave a carefree toss of his head and turned slightly, bringing his head to his chest and tipping it so he could place his chin to the edge of his shoulder.
Well, it wasnt really my fault you chose to storm off that way, you could have stormed back the way you came, or to the left, or right side... not nessicarily past me, you know.
His voice was teasing again as he reared slightly, tossing his head before landing with a muffled thud. He trotted back towards Cora and got up until he had to pull his neck and head up and back to not bump her and grinned.
Oh sweet and .... Angelic, He laughs out a cough, Cora, you know good and well I wouldnt lie to you.
He said, eyes gleaming as suddenly his mug jerked towards Cora's head and bumped into her forehead between her cool hazel eyes. He sprang away, muscles bunching and then realising to send him flying over the sand for 30 feet before he slid to a stop. Inconnu's eyes looked at her eagerly, almost seeming to beg her to race him - or try to beat him if she pleased.
[. Hehehe! My boy is a DORK! .]

Cora snorted. Wonderful time to play around. She shook her crania after the collision with his thick skull. She couldn't help but laugh, he was back to the way he used to be. For the moment anyway.
Inconnu, you are a complete moron.
She said with a chuckle. She reared slightly, the mood lightening dramatically around the pair. Landing with a spray of grains she took of into a canter, burshing past Inconnu and across the beach.

Inconnu gave a large buck and took off at a canter beside her, swinging his mug towards her knees to try to make her veer off and slow down so he could get ahead.
I'm only a complete moron because I grew up with you, oh sweet one.
He said as he rose his head back up and suddenly started cantering (still quickly) like a foal whose legs are too long for it and it doesnt know how to quite use them right. He was lost for a moment in his mind, where he was thinking about how he and Cora acted as foals, and how completly stupid he acted and then how much more stupd he acted - though a diffrent sort of stupid - when he got older. He gave a shake of his head, deciding not to act so pompus and stupid around Cora anymore, because other then her temper and the fact she scared him on a level, she could really kick his arse if she wanted to. Inconnu threw her a smile as he continued acting like an idiot and trying to make her laugh some more.

Cora smiled and looked over at Inconnu. She veered off to the side, making a u-turn. She moved into a trot and slowly trotted along in the shallows. She soon stopped when she was about 20 feet from Inconnu. She lowered her crania and drank some of the salt water from the ocean.
