Munchie
had arrived from the Rocky Mountains where she now stood lead mare with her handsome mate 'Freedom Moon' It had started slating there so she came here to get rid of the coldness but she still felt cold. She had never been here before so she wasn't sure what to expect. The only place she could remember being in was the rocky mountains, though she was sure that she had been other places before she fell sick. She also needed to get away once in a while because the dust in the mountains made it hard to breathe sometimes for her, it was ok now since the wind hadn't blown any dust but that wind nearly got her killed.

Freedom had been farther back and looked up when he saw the form of Munchie. He let out a small whinny towards her. He then began to trott towards her and he triped on a root that had entangled around his hoof. He stayed down for alittle while using his free hoof he tried to kick the roots out from around his hoof but only managed to make his leg sore from kicking it so much. He let out a small neigh emit through gritted teeth his leg was in alot of pain. He was on his side and knew he couldn't get up with his hoof caught like it was.

Munchie to him but then saw him fall she cantered to him, and grabbed her teeth breaking one root free, she began biting another then pulled away spitting some of the nasty tasting root from her mouth, but she suddenly went back ripping at it once more kicking it, doing everything she could to get it off his hooves, she nuzzled him to try and calm him down and a bit and then went back to biting until she bit through the root and trampled it so it couldn't get Moon again, she quickly trotted to a clear blue stream, drinking from it until the taste had gone then she went to see how Moon was.

Moon had calmed himself whenever Munchie nuzzled him and when she left to get the taste out of her mouth he got up slowly. His leg was alittle bloody from were he had kicked it so much before he had gotten help. When she came back he nuzzled her lightly on the neck and smiled "thank you love do you like what you see here." He said while limping alittle to her side and nuzzled her softly once more.

Munchie smiled. She saw the cut and she saddened but knew it couldn't be too bad. If you mean this place i do. Though i heard the darks can live here. But if you mean you. Of course i do you i my most beloved friend yet you are my mate. she said smiling once more seeing him happier now made her feel so much better.

He smiled and shook his head " No I think that all the outlaws were wipped out." He then heard the rest of what she had said and gave a small laugh " Well I love looking around here also especially if I happen to find you here then I love it even more." He said while then nuzzling her neck lightly he smiled. He then looked at the root that had been distoreyed and smiled slightly " I guess that is natures warning that I'm meant for the mountains and no place with roots." He said with another laugh.

Munchie laughed too. Yes though im not sure where i belong... Sometimes the mountains were too dusty but she liked it there all the same. She did not mind much anyway she liked living there with her love and enjoyed the company from the other horses. Most of them were very nice to her such as Ravens Feather and Munchie always hoped she and the other mares could one day be friends too.

Freedom looked at her and then sighed " Munchie you belong were your heart takes you,you know I won't keep you from something that you want to do." He said while nuzzaling her loveingly and then he lowered his head down to graze on the plentyful grass nearby. He then began to wonder how his mother was doing and what his younger sibling looked like for he had never seen them.He then raised his head and galloped back to his lands he had been gone way to long.
