Allenah ____________________________________
AGE Four
GENDER Mare
PERSONALITY Allenah is a free spirit, doing what she feels she wants. Also, she runs on high energy. Though after she lost her herd, her care free outlook on the world diminished and she became more quiet and thoughtful. Often in a conversation she will become very quiet, especially if it reminds her of her old life. It's very hard for Allenah to move on if something like that happens. Allenah has some patience, but not necessarily enough to deal with other horses some days. Her temper will flare in a very ugly way if someone tries to tell her what to do all of the time. She hates feeling restricted and closed in. At times she can be reckless and playful, but only on her best days. Allenah is friendly but she doesn't trust easily, if probed by too many questions she will clam up and it's almost impossible to get her to open up again. Stubborn or Perseverant- whatever you want to call it, it defines Allenah if she feels very strongly about something. She won't change her mind if she's set her heart to it. Once she gets to know you, she'll be more free and light. She gets to be outgoing and loyal towards those who she cares about. Once you've got her, you'll never lose her. However if you do happen to cross her in a bad way, or betray her- She'll make sure you either know that you've hurt her, or you'll have a silent treatment on your hooves. That's pretty much Allenah for you.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Allenah is a beautiful young Danish Warmblood. She has long, strong legs that are black and fade to bay at the connection to the body. Her fur is short and shiny, she is a dark bay that can almost seem a faded brown with black on her back. Her haunches are powerful like many of her breed. Allenah's neck is strong and her head is nicely shaped in proportion to her body. Her chest isn't quite broad nor narrow, but slightly more broad than the thorougbred that plays a part in her breed. Her barrel isn't too wide or rounded, but it dips in toward her haunches because of her athletic build. She is strong and spirited. She has one white sock on her right hindleg, her markings are shown through black points on her head and legs. Her mane is long and wavy as is her black tail.
HISTORY Allenah was born into a strong and prosperous herd. Her father, an energetic and fair stallion, had led them all and things had been good. The young filly had grown with her herd, through one winter. It was when the second winter of her lifetime came around that she was to lose everything she ever knew. This Winter had been particularly harsh and the snows had risen to two feet. Freezing winds bit at their coats and the grass beneath soon withered away and died. Everyone grew skinnier and lethargic. Allenah was no exception to the rule. It was decided that they needed to keep moving, staying in one place wouldn't be good at all. That long Winter was the worst anyone had ever seen, they lost that year's foals to it. One day, everything was completely white and the winds howled. The herd started to move on to keep warm, Allenah stumbled and soon she was lost. She couldn't see anything through her frost stung eyes. The howling wind caused her to lose track of the Herd. She moved on but she never did find her herd again.
