LITTLE COMET ____________________________________
AGE Two
GENDER Female
PERSONALITY Little Comet, despite what happened in her youth is still immature, being only Two years old this is somewhat expected. It is tempered by the fact she has lived on her own for a year so she’s knowledgeable in when she needs to temper her immaturity. At the same time however it’s made her worse in social situations. She plays games on her own and gets lost in her own world a lot. Her curiosity gets her in trouble a lot but her maturity to recognize danger puts her into Flight Mode fast enough to get out of it. She is still young and developing emotionally. Right now she wants a home and wants to belong to something but is afraid she might do something to mess it up as well because of what happened in her childhood. She wants to run and play for her whole life at this point but she may grow out of it and she may mature in time.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Little Comet is a bay with an almost Brindle pattern on her body. Instead of dark on white she has it with white streaks down her body. The streaks are light and broken up like a little bit of white is showing through. The stripes aren’t solid which only adds to her unique look. An odd color that is a genetic mutation that caused it, although it is unknown why this happened. Little Comet has two hind socks and a stripe down her face. She has dark, liquid eyes and is build for running and jumping, playing more so than anything else. She moves like she’s always ready to break into a gallop. She’s a purebred thoroughbred and she stands at about 16hh. Picture.
HISTORY Little Comet was born under a night sky and a shooting star, which is how she got her name. She was a playful, lighthearted filly who loved to run and jump and kick, a pretty average childhood for a foal. She grew up in a small herd oblivious to the politics that were tearing it apart. The herd was reaching its final lap together and it took Little Comet to make that final push, she just never knew about it. It happened when Little Comet was playing with a colt of the Head Mare. They were just a year old and were racing cross-country, across streams and logs, all within sight of the herd. Little Comet had started the race and she was winning it to, in a desperate attempt to pull ahead the colt bolted blindly. He caught his leg on a log and went down hard, driving a stick up into his chest. He would survive but the injury was the final snapping point. In a rage the head mare chased off Little Comet and she has been wandering alone since then. Soon after the herd fell apart but Little Comet never knew. She knows the danger of travelling alone and so she has been searching for a new herd to join and find strength in.
