There was a warm dawn light that came from the yawn of the morning. The day was just stirring, just waking up from the blanket of night. The suns rays appeared over the tired clouds that rested lightly upon the earth and warmed them into eventual rising from their lazy earth beds when they should be high in the sky. Within the lazily low shifting clouds hung a shadow of sorts, a bulk in the haze.
The world was full of water, the very air itself was wet. Lids shuttered the world into frames of motion and life. Dial raised, allowing orbs to take in the surrounding world. There were mares all over, scattering themselves about, the stallions in hot pursuit. One stag, in particular, seemed to be everywhere at once, shuffling from one mare to another. There was a face off one mare had with a wolf, who quickly gave up and chased after a rabbit which seemed to be far easier game since she actually managed to catch that. Dial lowered and pearly whites ripped and reared at the luscious grass that crowded about her feet. Auds flicked as the wind tickled them as it fluttered by. Bodice leaned forward as the grass diminished under her prevailing presence. Forelimb raised and replanted hoof as she moved to the thicker parts of the grass.
'AooooooOooooooOooooo!'
Dial snapped up, orbs searching for the scource of the sound. Again, it was the wolf that had thought about facing down both the mare and the stallion. Maria flared as the mare took the scent of the predator in the meadow. Female, alone...or so it seemed, but who was she calling for? Lids slitted peering at the creature. She seemed to be listening for a response, though none came. Good. With so many others around it would not dare to threaten any of the other horses.
Calmly dial lowered back to the grasses, and ivories continued snapping at the luscious grasses at here feet, dial raising to allow orbs to better take in those who were about in her surroundings.

Kryptonite walked along slowly with his cranium close to the terra, going slower than ever the boredom of being alone finally caught up with him. The bay brute pulled his cranium up as he noticed a mare in the distance, a slight smirk appeared as he continued to get closer "This will be fun" he snorted as he broke into a gallop. Once he reached her, Kryptonite lowered his cranium as he slowed to a stop as he flipped his mane about. "Hello there" he said with a smile, the bay brute began to circle the mare and stopped a few metres in front of her "Im Kryptonite and you are?" he asked curiously as he turned his gaze to the sky above |

The sun made it's way to towards it's zenith in the sky, slowly warming the earth with it's ascent. As ivories continued to tear the grass to a short height, aids picked up the soft thunder of hooves on the ground approaching. Dial raised, and orbs took in the bay stag as he approached her. His movement was elegant, he glided over the earth as he moved. Sinew rippled as he moved, causing his coat to glisten in the sun. He was, by all means, an elegant example of a fine stallion.
The brute circled her, seeming to take her in, impressed or not, she could not tell. Her impressiveness wasn't in her leggy elegance, but in her color and hardiness. She was of short stature, and round of body - not fat, but a round sprung ribcage, and a muscular body with a healthy layer of body fat. Her short mane stuck upright, not falling down alongside her neck. It was brilliantly colored like the rest of herself, though, it was mostly dark with brown and blonde highlights.
The stag halted in front of her. "Hello," he said. "I am Kryptonite...and you are?"
Barrel expanded as the mare took a breath to speak, "I am Danika. A pleasure to meet you, so far."
[/color] Dial tilted slightly to one side, orb watching the brujo's every move. Flowing ribbons flicked lightly, in anticipation and a dash of anxiety. Waiting. [/size] [/center] |

Kryptonite smiled as the mare spoke, he was more than impressed with her, she didn't seem real, a hallucination? maybe but as long as Kryptonite could touch and feel her, then she was real. "Well.. Miss Danika why is such a beautiful mare like yourself.. so alone?" he asked curiously, stepping towards her with his cranium lowered.
Kryptonite was interested in her, but he didn't want to make a move just yet.. he wanted to know more about her.

Mare was absorbed in his presence, his masculine grace. She couldn't ask for a stronger looking stallion...the question was if his attitude matched his body. Was he strong enough to defend her? Why is such a beautiful mare such as yourself so...alone?" he asked. Inquiry indeed. Auds flicked briefly as the fae decided her answer, "Waiting for a stallion to come along that is willing to protect his mares and his home." She paused, studying him."...and waiting to find one to include me in his harem."
Fae watched him. An overwhelming urge over took her, to touch him, to take in his scent, and know it. Auds pricked, intent on his answer. Boa streatched, and nariz flared as she blew her scent lightly in his nose, and lightly bumping noses with him. Tail raised slightly, the breeze played with it, waving it a little this way and that, giving her an extra burst of elegance.

Kryptonite stood bright eyed staring at the elegant mare "Am I that stallion?" he asked teasingly. After bumping noses, Kryptonite couldn't help but want to rub against her, he couldn't contain his excitement anymore. The bay brute raised his tail and pranced closer to the mare known as Danika, he began rubbing his cranium along her neck, he paused and pulled away, to look at her "Is it a crime to want you?" he asked curiously.
Kryptonite backed away to where he was standing before, he held his cranium high and let the wind flow past him freely, his mane and tail whipping about as the wind past. The bay brute gazed at the mare, admiring her beauty as she stood before him, would she come with me? he thought to himself

The femme took in his scent as he blew his scent into her flaring nariz as he breathed. His eyes were bright as they watched her. Am I that stallion?" Hmm, well he could be, she supposed..."I suppose that depends on whether or not you want to be."
The stag stepped closer and rubbed his crani' against her neck. Orbs closed briefly, and she leaned into his rubs, enjoying the relief of what scratches she had there. Orbs opened when he stopped, and looked at her critically, "Is it a crime to want you?"
She blinked. A crime? Dial shook, tail swished, and mare let loose a snort of amusement. A Crime? No. I wouldn't say so..."
[/color] Her voice trailed off. Auds flicked, here eyes were bright as she teased him, "So do you want me?"[/size] [/color][/center] |

Kryptonite smiled at her reply "Oh, I want to be" he said as he circled the mare with his tail raised. The bay brute stopped a bit behind her "I want you.. bad" he whispered as he nipped her flanks, walking slowly up beside her he breathed in her scent, closing his orbs as he did so. Kryptonite pulled away and moved to the front of her "So.. would you be my mare?" he said as he arched his neck and moved closer to her visage, breathing slowly on her muzzle

She was pleased. This elegant stag wanting her to be his. He walked behind her, nipping at her flanks on his way and back. Auds flattened expressing her displeasure, tail whipped, and a soft squeal issued forth from her vocals as her hind leg raised and stamped back onto the ground with a threatening force. He came back to her facade, and asked her straight out,"So.. would you be my mare?"
Nariz flared as she took in his scent, "Yes, I will be your mare."
Muzzle touched his after her answer, and she stepped forward and touched his shoulder with it. Lightly, she nibbled on his withers, as high as she could, grooming him.

The brute pawed the terra as he began to toss his cranium around. Kryptonite was more than happy that Danika was his, he reared lowly, when he came back down he rubbed his cranium against her and then began to brush his body against hers. "Shall we go and claim land?" he asked her curiously, while he awaited her answer Kryptonite nibbled on some grass, but stopped and began to nibble on Danika

The fae watched the stallions antics, he was clearly pleased. He rubbed against her, and she leaned into his rubs. "Shall we go and claim land?"
She was exalted. She belonged to someone, and would start a herd now. She would eventually be a mother...what an odd - but pleasant - thought. "Indeed we shall."
She gazed at him with bright eyes, auds pricked. "Lead the way."
It was a good day for travel, cool, comfortable. Easy on the lungs, the ground was still thawing, but it was not so soft as to be mud. She would follow wherever he lead her, and settle down in those lands with him as well.
