she tensed as the mare took a step then the breath calmed her "ummm its been four days and she said something about my dad wanted me out because of my eyes he said i wasn't his" she looked into the water her blue eyes stood out like black in a white room a small tear ran down her face and she looked back up to the mare "i like your name by the way " her small leg pounded the ground as the flies bit and sucked at her cuts but she really didn't care to much her frame was just like a race horse but she needed to be groomed and taken to a place where she could feed the malnourished was sowing on the filly and it was soon to take a tool on the little fighter.

Ship snorted at Unity's information. So her father had tossed her out. She stepped over to the filly and lowered her muzzle to the short, dark strands of Unity's mane.
“There's a colt around your age not far from here. We can go see him now.” Ship hesitated to give an opinion on the matter. She felt anger flare up within her but it would do no good for the filly to see her in that state. She stepped around Unity and started up the hill, though she stopped halfway and swung her gray head around to make sure her charge was managing the trip. She half closed her eyes, feeling pity spread through her for the filly as a strong gust of wind plastered her tail against her side. These wide open spaces did not offer much protection against the wind. She coaxed the filly on with a nudge on her rump whether she needed it or not. The air carried the promise of rain later, and Ship had yet to spend a rainy day outside of a stable. She wasn't sure how she was going to cope with that.
They came to the rise where Ship had her encounter with the grasshopper. If Unity's dam had been gone for four days then she would most likely be nowhere in sight; and looking over the land now, the only horses she could see were Tiago and Cheveyo on the other side. Ship whinnied to them so they knew she was all right.
“That's the colt I mentioned to you,” the mare told Unity. “The palomino with the creamy mane and tail.” She glanced at the filly with soft brown eyes. “Maybe you could be friends.” She decided not to mention that Tiago's mother had recently died. It was his story to tell, not hers. That and she wasn't certain of the details anyway.
Ship reached the bottom of the hill and broke out into a trot, heading straight up to Cheveyo. She stopped and touched noses with him, then rubbed her face alongside Tiago's.
“I found this filly by the creek,” she informed them. “Her name is Unity, and she has nowhere else to go. So she might as well stay with us right?” Ship lipped at Cheveyo's shoulder, knowing he wouldn't mind.

Hearing Ship whinny to cheveyo and Tiago, the stallion nickered back as his ears went up first at Ship-relieved to see she was back,then to the black filly that was with her. Never have seeing a black foal with blue eyes before, he found himself watching it curiously and then smiling warmly. By now, Tiago had come up along side Cheveyo, he too looked at Unity curiously,and slightly shy since he had been alone fore quite a while and his social skills might have needed a little polishing. Feeling Ship's soft face and muzzle agains't his Tiago smiled alittle and nipped at the ends of her mane-his dark caramel eyes lighting up little by little as he relaxed more and got used to the large stallion and gently mare that had found him.
Cheveyo looked at the little filly and nodded,sertainly not about to turn a foal away. Why would he? he liked the company of little bundles of energy romping aoruns anyways so it was perfectly find with him. "Sh'es more than welcome to stay if she'd like" HE said looking at the filly and then to Tiago. Turning his head towards Ship, Cheveyo nuzzled her neck and then chuckled softly "i thouhgt I was gonna have to go fins you" he teased smiling at her-his blue eyes seeming to laugh but they also were more watchful since they now had two foals with them. Tilting one ear back a little as a low rumble of thunder was heard almost right above them,cheveyo shifted his gaze to the trees. 'We better stay ner cover from here on out-i don't know how bad this storm will be" He warned looking at the foals and then to Ship

she looked at the colt in front of her and blinked it seemed her eyes got so much more blue as the feeling of family overwhelmed her she looked at the stallion and then noticed the blue eyes she smiled though she was a good distance from them she was happy she had no clue how the foal would take her being there she was about to start to graze when the thunder made her freak and she took off over the grass the memory of the gun shooting her younger brother her dads little son and then her dad taking out the loss on her it made her run faster she looked back only enough to see the hole in front of her when she bound over it she jumped high it was amazing for a filly she landed on the other side of it and stoped just under the trees her whole body shook and she fell to the ground.

Tiago too, jumped at the loud thunder he skidded forward a little into Ship and automatically felt comfort and security. Cheveyo tilted his head up at the sky as a few raindrops landed on his forehead,the dark clouds hovering over them like a dark presence. "Alright, let's head for he trees" He announced nudging Tiago along and making sure unity was still in his sight. He followed behing Ship and Tiago so he knwe everyone was together and there were no stragglers.
By the time they were under the cover of the thick,leafy cover of the trees it was a down pour. Te large gray stallion had gotten in a little to lae and was almost dripping with rain water,his forelock plastered to his head until he grunted a little and shook off the extra water running down his hide-Hot steam rolling off him from the cold water penetrating his warm body. Scanning over everybody and making sure they were all accounted for, he stepped over to Unity,his large soft nose nudging her gently. "There's nothing to be affraid of " He cooed as a cold gust of wind sent shivers thrugh him until he could regain his warmth.

Ship gave a low nicker as Cheveyo mentioned that he thought he might have to go find her. Something about the way he said it made her heart leap. She wasn't sure what his feelings were for her though, so she tried not to hope for anything. They had their hooves full with the foals at the moment anyway. In fact, as she thought this, thunder boomed overhead. Ship was startled and let out a whinny. Unity shot off, cowering under the nearest tree. Ship looked down as something collided into her ribcage. It was only Tiago. She nuzzled him as a few raindrops splashed over them, the beginnings of a storm.
The dapple gray mare was glad that the wild stallion knew what to do as he ushered them under the trees, a natural umbrella for them. Ship laid next to Unity so that their sides touched as Cheveyo tried to comfort her. The skies were dark and menacing, and lightning forked through the air, followed closely by the sound of thunder. It sounded really loud now that Ship had no choice but to be outside at the mercy of the elements. She snuggled close to the foals and watched the fury of the storm, taking comfort in the strong presence of Cheveyo. The stallion was sopping wet from bringing up the rear. She stood up again and walked over to him, grooming his mane and face then stood next to him in case he was cold.

Nestling down into the grass,Tiago found a warm patch of tall grass that helped shield him from the rain.Curling himself in to a tight ball like shape he kept his head low as the rain tried to reach him through the tall canopy of trees. Cheveyo felt Ships groom his face and mane,nuzzling her neck with a soft nicker as another loud roar of thunder rolled and boomed above them. The stallion showed no sign of being worried or scared of the storm, his ears fliskered slihglty at the loud noice but he dind't jump or spook that easily. The wind had calmed slightly during the storm, ut the rain was sweeping across the land in black walls of pelting drops. Looking over at Ship,Cheveyo nudged her shoulder "You should rest, I'll keep watch" He said between a flash of lightning and it's loud accomplice of thunder. HE did have to admit though,it was really nice having ship's compant-he could feel her heat from her coat against his as he shifted closer towards her.

she sat there and nickered as the stallion and mare comforted her but then the thunder roared again and she flinched the memory was still so fresh in her mind she looked over at the colt he was a handsome thing she liked at the way he lay there and copied him she knew that her new friends and well almost family would keep her safe the wind moved her little bit of mane that she had and her blue eyes looked out of place as she closed them the rain made her dream float in all kinds of ways as her new family danced in a big medow and her and tiago ran neck in neck threw and around some out of place trees she was laughing in this dream nothing she has ever bone in a long time then the thunder came and tiago feel beside her and the two horses turned on her the big gray stallion ran at her and bit her neck and sides hard telling her it was her fault she just looked at them and they all turned into her old family and her dads words rang in her head "take her away from here drop her off and leave here there for the wolves she is of no use to me" her bit her one more time and then she jumped up from her little sleep the noise she made was pain and anger and sadness all in one she looked around and then down to the ground as she saw everyone was ok and there

Tiago lifted his head a little at th ehunder,the lightning was to bad for him. The palomino blinked a few times,his brown eyes scanning ever everyone and then pausing at Unity as she jumped. Yawing a bit he set his head down,too tired to move or think about anything else right at the moment.

“I don't have much choice but to rest anyway in this weather,” Ship replied to Cheveyo, rubbing her forehead against his neck, which was notably drier than it had been before.
Unity was sleeping fitfully, and Tiago was snoozing peacefully. She was a dark colored filly, and he was a light colored colt. Her eyes were blue, his eyes were brown. Ship couldn't help but notice the things that were different between them, but here they were, together. She felt content here with her three companions, and her eyes drifted closed as the thunder and lightning gave way to pure rain. The steady pitter patters lulled the mare to a lovely sleep, with the smells of her friends surrounding her.
This was something she had never had with the humans. It was irreplacable, and she wondered how she had ever been a domesticated mare. She leaned against Cheveyo's muscular shoulder, enjoying this moment for what it was.
Eventually the rain slowed, until it stopped completely. It was hard to tell that under the trees, because water dripped and splashed onto the ground from the leaves. Ship opened one eye, then the other, and took an experimental step out into the open. The ground was squishy from the rain and as she raised her hoof again, there was a soft sucking sound. The creek seemed louder now as well. Ship snatched a bit of grass and munched it. It wasn't to her liking, since it was quite wet, and she swallowed it disdainfully. It felt like a slug crawling down her throat. She shook out her coat, sending a fine spray of water into the air.

Cheveyo was dozing lightly. He too had been lulled to sleep by the patter of raing against the leaves and the faded sound of thunter in the distance. His head was low, almost brusing the grass with the end of his lips as he let his head hang down. In the past few hours of night he had dried almost all the way but was still slightly damp. Flicking his tail a little the stallion pulled in a soft breath and shifted his weight as his head was brought up to do a fulll scan of the area. The foals were still sleeping and it seemed Ship was expirementing with the wet,watery grass. Smiling to himself as the big orange sun rose ofver the canopy of trees, he stepped out from unter the cover of the leaves and shook out his mane a little-his coat was super soft thanks to the rain waterlast night.
"Did you sleep well?" He asked gently nudging Ships side as he came up from her right, doing a quick check of the meadow before looking at her and rotating his ears forward happily.

she smiled as the sun came the night was scary for her the days she was alone she had gotten quite a scare she got up in a rush her energy was so built up she had to do something with it when she was at the barn with the humans they would put her on a big thing that let her run as fast as she could and she did and she could hear them say that she was going to be the next big winner she shook her head and looked at the two horses out in the mud that word stuck to her like glue as she broke right into a canter past the two and into the wet mud puddles and rain water she didn't even notice when she splashed the two with mud as she ran back and forth then she got far enough away from then to where she could just book it she went all the way to the tree line to there right then turned around she looked to her left making sure she could see the other two horses and then to her left acting like there was other coltes there ready to eat her dust she drew back almost siting down the 1 2 3 she was off like a bat out of hell she leaned into herself her neck stretched and she ran all the way to the left of the meadow and slid to a stop almost falling over backwards as a growl from a mother wolf stopped her she turned and ran even faster this time back to the stallion and mare she was attempting to stop and was sliding as she ran into the stallion not enough to hurt but enough to know she was there she got up and ran under the trees almost kicking the poor colt on her way in.

(OOC: AHH! lol I've been telling everybody this but I'm really excited so I thouhgt I lt you guys know too! lol I made My Freshman volleyball team!! )

Cheveyo chuckled watching the fily run. She had a good pair of legs on her that was for sure. he closed one eye as he was speckled with brown,goopy mud alone his one side like little brown freckles.
Tiago grunted lifting his head and blinking trying to wake enough to get his sences going. He pushed himself onto his feet and looked at Unity for a moment seeing her covered with mud but was a little to shy to ask where she had gone. Instead he walked out into the tall grass,just testing it but not liking the way it crawled down his throat. He nickered happily at cheveyo and Ship, Cheveyo dipped his head and nudged the colt. "Well, good morning-both of you" He smiled looking from Tiago to Unity as his ears rotated forward

Ship's ears pivoted backwards as Cheveyo approached. He nudged her side and she nickered softly. He asked if she slept well, and she turned to him with sparkling brown eyes. “Yes I did,” she answered shyly.
The moment was interrupted however as seemingly out of nowhere, mud splattered up and covered the mare's legs. Ship let out a whinny of dismay. Realizing it was only Unity, who was now on a mad dash around the meadow, Ship snorted and joined the black filly. She lengthened her strides and for awhile ran neck and neck with Unity, but then she circled back and ran to Cheveyo, assuming that the filly would follow.
When she didn't hear the filly's hoof beats pounding along with hers, Ship slowed and turned to spot the filly some distance away from her. Now her run seemed to be in panic and she fled back under the trees with Tiago. Ship snorted again and tossed her head, confused by the filly's actions. Now that she came to think of it, neither of the foals had spoken very much since joining them. She huffed, catching her breath, and then walked back to Cheveyo. She was now mostly covered with mud, and sighed at herself. With the creek roaring the way it was, that didn't seem like the best option to get clean. She'd get swept away in the process. She rolled in the grass but it only served to get her dirtier, not cleaner.
“Well, maybe it'll rain again,” she said sheepishly, eyeing the three horses while flicking one ear.

Cheveyo laughed a little and nodded " Give the river time to settle back down and we can probably wash off then." HE said huffing out a breah of air as a mosquito landed on his nose. His ears flickered arouns,hearing something in the trees other than the foals-his head rotationg arouns a little as his blue eyes flashed with slightly curiosity only to realize it was a group of rabbits coming out for their morning stretch. Hopping through the tall grass as the sun slowly began to warm the lands with its golden rays of light
