Unity raced across the grounds, her head stretched out and her legs moving fast. She pushed forward again and moved faster, she loved the feeling of the wind going threw her sleek black coat. Her main and tail was growing but was still short, she jumped over a high set log and came down hitting the ground her feet not missing a beat. She laughed at the easy jump and pushed faster, she ran right for a wide creek and sprang her feet stretched out. She landed stopping turned around. She looked at the creek and thought it looked about the length of two horses standing nose to tail, she laughed again and stood as the sweat rolled off her. She tossed her head and lowered her long neck into the cool water. She sipped and the chill of the water made her shiver, she slowly walked into the river and splashed herself. She then slowly got out and looked around, nothing caught her eye and she did something she rarely did. She walked a few steps and whinnied loud for anyone to hear, it was a sort of dare for a stallion or mare to try and slow her down. she wanted friends and a mate, but she wanted them to be able to keep up with her high speed and high spirit.
