Inanna
____________________________________
AGE 4
GENDER Mare.
PERSONALITY Inanna has always been a quiet mare, rather shy though as she ages she’s coming more out of her shell. She was frightened to hear herself speak when she was a small filly. So she thinks the fact that she has basic conversations down is an improvement. She still doesn’t speak an incredible amount and generally doesn’t start a conversation. She will continue it on however and give a decent contribution. Especially after she gets used to the presence of another and works out more of their personality. Despite not being the most comfortable horse around others, she is much braver on her own. It takes quite a bit to scare her and she will often go check out noises with little thought as to being scared. Once she’s more comfortable around another horse, her curiosity kicks in again and she tends to try to find out as much as she can about that horse. Inanna is hardly comfortable in her own skin and about her very unusual markings, she’ll easily shift about uncomfortably and get incredibly shy the moment it’s brought up. She’d much rather that they didn’t mention it at all. It’s normal for her so she doesn’t understand why it isn’t normal for others PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Breed: Quarter horse x Thoroughbred x Unknown Height: 16.1hh Coat Color: Palomino-based brindle Mane/tail Color: Flaxen Eye Color: Brown Markings: Brindle pattern is lighter than the rich colour of her coat, covering the majority of her back, neck and upper legs. As with some brindles, she also has a dorsal stripe. She has two white socks on her front feet as well.
HISTORY Inanna was born into a large herd, though she always felt a little bit of an outcast. No-one really looked like her and it made her afraid to speak or really say much in case she showed herself to be even more different and strange than she did already. She did join in a few games but for the most part she kept to herself. She found other ways to amuse herself, and they were mainly playing with her mother and exploring. She would look at absolutely everything around her and play games that weren’t always wise. It probably made them all the more fun. She was scolded more than once for ‘chase the snake’. She came more out of her shell once she left the herd aged two, gaining her voice a little more. She became a little more comfortable about looking slightly different, even being told by some that she had a beautiful pattern on her coat, though she still squirms like an awkward teenager whenever someone brings it up. For now she just continues to travel and explore in the hopes of finding somewhere she feels a little more comfortable.
OTHER That's right. I brought my brindle baby in.
