Her low swinging crown, voids concentrating only 'pon the gentle ripple of aqua that swept about foredaggers. Bracing sinew at every growling wave that threatened to grasp her dappled bod if her wits were not about her. So focused 'pon every swilling breath of the sea mother, that flutes were hardly aware of the presence that slid beside her chassi. Until a sudden flash of auburn darted before crest. Crown shot towards the heavens, an abrubt halt as this dancing being blocked her retreat. Voids finaly recovered to glimpse the features of Aurora, as a talon swept across her vision. Powerful serpentine of a healthy determined mare. Her closest friend. The Appaloosa felt helpless against the rippling muscles of Arabian and Thoroughbred mixture that herded her from the waves. Oasis could only meekly obey, or take the risk and attempt plunging past the fiery crimson one. Daggers reluctently retraced steps, slowly but surely backing up into the golden grains. Yet deep inside, the dappled fea was encouraged to know the flamed one still cared. Mind vaguly wondering if Windago had witnessed her heartfelt epilogue.
The question was answered, with a thundering of earthcrushing daggers in a familiar beat that could only belong to the obsidian brujo of these lands. Polka dot bod swung swiftly half-turn. Haunches now facing Aurora, baited breath towards Windago. Heartbeat choked in throat at the terrifying image of full grown Freisan intent 'pon driving a message home thundered from the thicket. Oasis cowered 'pon beach, the red hot anger in his orbs enough to send her back in time, to such a place of heartbreaking, torturing days. Feeling momentarily pinned and stunned, daggers could only grip as his ferocious chords tumbled again and again as stab wounds to her heart.
Yet with every fiery syllable, Oasis felt her own building annoyance boil inside gut, growing and thriving into purely matched anger.
How dare he?! Accusing me of all the blame, whilst placing himself 'pon a pedastel of immorality. He is no saint!
But no melodies could flow from labrums. Just stunned, pained, and angered silence. Though as the beast towered above her, she could only meekly gaze upwards at his threats and sneering. Only when she was sure his demon had quietened, could her prouder stance provail.
At the same moment when breath was still straining to refill lungs, pump oxygen to muscles and heave dotted flanks, it seemed Windago had softened. Yet then the fickle, accusing beast stretched forth nape, for ebon crown to attempt press silken plush against her own. Oasis's auds pinned against dial, and warning hiss growled from voice box as tiara roughly pulled away. How can he attempt such affentionate touches after the crushing, demeaning blows he had rained 'on her just moments before.
...treat me like nothing. Rubbish!
Yes, she had accepted cruel punishments for pretend offences in the distant past. Pushed to the ditch and trampled emotionally and physically by a gang of ruthless brute's that claimed to be her "protecters" in a herd. Bred, scared and terrorised relentlessly for all her waking hours. But she had survived. Yet through all that she could not take the pain of a broken heart. That was not pain in the normal stretches of the world. That abondenment was too soul breaking, to cut the maiden loose from her safe harbour to drift on a silent sea.
Yet with immediate pain the bodice reacts with anger, and that anger gave her the courage to refuse his touch. Take charge of her self for a change and disallow the brute to have it both ways. So furious yet caring. To try and manipulate her every thought and feeling, and have her crumble to her knees.
The world held its breath as the equines stayed trapped in their own riddle of life. Oasis almost transfixed and lost, considering of her next action. As Windago's next baritones suddenly sliced through her spell and powered every muscle as a single convulsion. Jumping as if spooked by Satan himself. Every sence became suddenly painfully aware as the minx took a hearbeat to decide her movement. Trapped from infront and behind by the only equine's ever close to her heart.
A shrill lamenting whinny, still soft and fragile as the gust swept it away. Before swinging to the right and powering along the coastline at tremendous speed. Banner whipping at dotted nape, pistons stretching forth at impossible speeds 'pon sinking sand granules. Surely she could not keep pillars beneath her? Daggers too petite to spread her weight evenly in her escape, yet soul refused to allow slowing as an option. So disorientated was mind t'was almost forgotten of what lay ahead. Yet vaguly at the back of wounded mind she knew this stretch of glittering sand was halted by a massive rock face. The top a dizzying height up, a glorious view from the top, the gaze streching endlessly over the rolling sea. But impossible to scale from below.
Yet it did not even matter. Oasis was too exhausted to reach its feet. Pillars could only slow wearily when bod was just a speck in the distance. And collapse with relief into the warm bed. Tucking dotted crown into forepillars, curling up in her own misery. Appaloosa bod dripping with sweat and spray, heaving for breath and wracking with silent tearless sobs.
So consumed by this glorious feeling that enveloped herself and perfect Anubis before her; that all other comotion was blocked by mind. Only when a shrill crying lament filled her flutes did crown whip to the side and glimpse the three equines she always envisiged to be the image of perfection. Smile froze 'pon delicate features at the sight of her dear mother flee across the sands, such a pained yet angry look in the depths of her emerald hues. Matching with that of Windago's. Miracle instantly knew something was drastically wrong, and pillars needed no second warning to spring into action. Dashing admist sprays of sand towards the gathering of now two. She had known her mother had been absent from the isle for some time, but none had filled her in on how serious the situation was. Too nieve, living in the perfect world.
Creamy locks whipping behind hocks and across dappled nape as the fea three beated towards her father with urgency. Hoping her love was not far behind. Almost skidding to a halt, piercing gaze that matched her dam's, bore into the crimson Aurora. Searching for any clue. Before sharply flicking to Windago, roughly demanding an answer with a swift snort of delicate nares.
Daggers were restless amidst the grains. Unsure of where to be. Oasis was a speck getting fainter along the beach yet still the femme ached to beside her dam. Comforting at her side. And still Miralce had no clue as to the problem. Was she injured? That must be the incident. As no other catastrophe could mar this paradise on which her small, but loving family resided. Could it?

The hypocritical lyrics spilling from Windago’s maw began to irritate and frustrate her, and she was never the most pleasant mare when she was frustrated. With much interest, she watched as Oasis pulled away from Windago’s touch – now that was the Oasis she knew was deep down in her. It was about time she could stand up for her self, and not take every thing to heart. She hated watching Oasis cower under neath every word, and hit she received, she hated any one doing that, but Oasis especially.
Crimson hide dripped with slick droplets of sea water rolling down her coat, but she did not mind. She remained silent, lobes soaking up every silent word Oasis screamed, and every pain that whistled through Windago. This was awkward, and she knew they both must be in a lot of pain, Oasis wanted to flee, but Aurora would not let her. Oasis had been gone for too long, and all Aurora ever wanted to do was spend some time with her, giggle at random things, watch the time fly by, like they used to.
But Aurora had taken advantage of her youth, and now it was gone. This was so confusing; she tried to add the sum up in her mind, but chose to completely ignore every thing once her dappled love flew out of the scene. She whined under her breath, dropped her lobes to her skull, and watched with concern. She tilted her crown towards Windago, a frown dotted momentarily over her forehead. This was not how she wanted the three to reunite; this was not how her fantasy went.
“Treat you like nothing? You’re our whole world, Windago. She left us to find her self, her short absence was none of our concern, and now you’re making it worse. You made no effort to find her so don’t make this her fault. You screwed up, Win, and you’re screwing every thing else up by being so cruel.”
Aurora’s words came slickly off her tongue, and rolled into the atmosphere in a bitter tone. She diverted eye contact back to the distance, where Oasis took off. She exhaled her breath in disdain, before snapping attention to the smaller figure come up beside her. Auds pinned forward, watching as Miracle, almost a spitting image of Oasis, desperately tried to find answers, you could tell from her eyes. Eyes were a fascinating thing; Aurora could read equine’s like a book from them.
Leaning her boa forward, she nudged Miracle’s cheek with a soft, tender touch. The innocence of a blooming horse, they had it so simple. Stepping forward, Aurora took off at a brisk trot, almost as a walk. Golden orbs focused on the hoof prints Oasis left behind her.

In the warmth of Miracle’s clutch, it was difficult to acknowledge what was happening around them. But, alerted by Miracle’s sudden reaction to a squeal, he followed her eyes to the small group of horses. The tense atmosphere around the trio was almost unbearable, and made it feel very nervy indeed. He cringed as Oasis darted off in the opposite direction, he was almost about to take a step forward as Miracle did, but instead followed closely beside her, as she broke into a darting speed.
He watched with curiosity, voids focused on what was happening as he slowed behind Miracle. Nothing seemed right. Anubis watched his mother as Aurora paced towards where Oasis had gone off to. Something was seriously wrong. Hooven was picked up, and put down shifting his bod a little closer.
“What happened, Windago?”

This was too much for this old stag to bear. His heart was ripped in two as Oasis ran, far away into the distance, soon followed by Aurora. His little Mircale approached with little sounds of consern. He could not answer her. His heart beat on too many off beats. His head pounded. His blood stream became pounding as it tried to push too much blood to his painful heart.
A heart attack.
That is what was happening. With a small grunt he slipped to the sands. He wanted to scream and cry from the pain that was bearing in his heart. His orbs rolled slightly, and a small sweat broke over his hide, dark spots.
Soon it ended, the pain remained, ected over his heart, as he lay on the sands, gasping for breath. He needed water. He tried to stand, his talons gripping the sands in protest. Looking up at Mircale.
Water
He barely managed to gasp. He pawed at the sands, indicating her to paw at the sands to dig a small water hole by his head so he could drink. His mouth even hurt, painful and dry. He licked his kissers, his mouth..So dry.
He closed his eyes. He needed help. He needed help like he needed from the humans.

Her delicate spotted dial remained fixed tucked into polka dot bod. Feeling internal organs become squashed in this unatural position, but too weak to force bod upright 'pon shaky pillars. Nares gently blew in and out, her heart finally returning to normal pulse. Warm circuling air gently scattering the grains where plash lay. Lashes closed over cheekbones, to keep the tiny granules away. Flutes alert to every lulling shush of the waves, wishing to drag her futher into sleep. No longer aware of any other noise or thought, nor even of the aubrun chassi that was heading in her direction. It did not matter any more.
The young fea felt the gentle kindness passed to her by the affectionate touch of the crimson mare. Knowing by the relationship with her mother that she would help in every way. Voids lingured 'pon the retrreating bod of Aurora, nervously flicking auds. Relief finally flooding bod as her beloved gliding beside her. Asking the question that was stuck 'pon her tonue, trapped and refusing to be set loose. Afraid of the answer.
Dial cocked to the side, gentle sea hues peering at her beloved father. Her gentle knight and protecter. Wondering why he remined here when his love and sped off in such a state. But before futher persuing could ensue. The great, powerful steed sudenly dropped to the earth with convusions. Miracle instantly squealed, shock and horror filling voids as the strongest being of her mind crumbled with so much pain in rolling pools. With the initial shock, dappled bod jumped back in a single convuslion, dappled bodice colliding with Anubis and shooting forth once more with the unexpected impact. Daggers danced and fretted. What to so? What to do? Gaze flickered to every object in sight, madly at chaos in this situation so alien and deathly frightening. Though soon wits returned in time to notice the plead in her father's orbs. And catch the raspy whisper from the wounded animal. Pillars instantly set to work, with tremendous vigour now she knew she could be of use. Fore scythes pounded into the soft grains, spitting and shovelling granules beneath Appaloosa chassi before the sands had time to refill the hole. Starting near the crown of her father, yet careful not to bury him in her digging. Enlaring the hole until cool aqua filled its depths. Sturdying the walls and filling the hole. Before trickling in retreat, being dragged back by the current, yet leaving a small puddle behind.
Miracle stood back, sides heaving with terror, yet talons finally rested. Watching with choking breath, willing the demon to leave her precious Windago.

Skull remained held low, shaking her head to her self lightly, as plodding like motions were taken over the grains. This wasn’t how it was supposed to be. Oasis wasn’t supposed to get a sudden burst of confidence, and Windago wasn’t supposed to lecture the dappled dove. No, that wasn’t how it was supposed to go. With a heavy breath of air, and a heavier exhale, a frown dotted her crown momentarily before erasing it completely. Her thoughts had collapsed her mind, and so was unable to notice any thing dramatic occur in the back ground.
Eventually, the sun burnt mare approached the petite femme in a light slumber – sure, she would risk waking her – but Aurora was much too stubborn, and selfish to really care. Taking her last steps beside her, maw lowered even more until she could reach the pale cheek. Flicking nares towards her cheek bone, she nudged her skull lightly, with care. How she loved Oasis so, and how she wished she knew. They’d been through so much, but fate brought them back together. Fate brought them all together. That should say enough about how strong, and how their friendship was meant to be. __________________________________________________________
The sight of the stallion fall weak and limp, and ending up falling to the ground, not only scared him, but made him aware of just how short life was. He had so many things to do yet – and, well, he didn’t have as much time as he thought he had. He cringed, and took a step back, orbs darting over Windago in a desperate attempt to search his mind to help him in any way. Pools widened, Windago’s violent gasps for air scared him enough. But Miracle was strong, something he admired in her. She was such an independent filly.
‘Water.’ That was self explanatory. His mind whirled much too quickly, he was much too confused, and every thing had left his mind. With the powerful knock into his rump via Miracle, reality had clicked back to the young stallion. Windago wanted, needed, water. Then that’s what he’d get. As Miracle began to dig a hole, Anubis was quick to aid her in that task. Hoovens stabbed the grains, until they collapsed as sunk into the new found water.

The thristy stag, clenched and uncleched his dry jaws, his pupils dilated from the lack of water and strength. His heart beat furiously in his chest, blood feeling to brust out of his chest. With sad little whicker he raised his head and drank. His lips soaking up the water he needed. He drank long and fast. Drinking too much.
Feeling as though he was about to burst, he leaned back, his head bouncing on the hot sands, his orbs closed tight to the glare of the sun. He had drankin' too much too fast, and now he had a nose bleed. Bright red blood ozzed out of his nose and onto the sand. Finally it stopped, it was a small one. He slipped into a kind of a trance, murmuring softly.
Oasis...Aurora...Oasis...
His orbs were closed, his hide twitched in strain. He would be fine soon enough, but he needed rest, and love.

The Apaloosa dozed in whatever flicker of sunlight burned polka bodice, lashes fanning over cheekbones, hiding her tender spheres from the cruel world. Plush turned beneath slender bod, pistons splayed un cared for across the sands, as if Oasis was a mere filly once more, with no control over gangly stilts. Her breath finally evened, strength returned to her muscles bit by bit. Like magic flitting down arteries to mend the cuts and scrapes, yet could not reach the bruises 'pon her heart. A plan started to hatch in mind, her dearest Aurora surely could not stalk her physique day and night? There must be a moment sometime when the flame-kissed femme's back would be turned, and then the Appaloosa could slip from the island. Return to the mainland and take all pain and grief with her. She knew she should have never returned, life here was just returning to normal, wasn't it? They were healing, moving on without the nuisance dove that held everyone back. Every equine here had had their chance to stop the Queen leaving her kingdom, but none heeded the warnings, and none set to retrieve her bod when she left. Oasis could not have survived in the tortuoues limbo for any longer. So many problems, yet none to listen.
The sands beneath her cheek started to vibrate in rhythmic beats, and it took a while for Oasis to realise t'was hoofsteps that pounded the earth, a gentle gait heading her way. And a feather touch had already glanced her visage before two and two clicked. Crown shot up to the yonder, suprise already etched in emerald orbs. Windago? Blood rushed from her dial with the sudden jerk, and a headache riddled her sences, but as the blurred image focused, a smile set 'pon labrums as the crimson Aurora graced her view.
Auds flicked uneasily as the mare searched for melodies. The scene of her plush pulling from Windago's grasp was the cause of her soft melodies, musing yet twinkling
I have been in your company for too long m'dear. Your traits are rubbing off on me.
Gaze held her closest friend's glittering luminares, before dial slumped back to the grains. Her insides were complaining of the cramped space, yet Oasis felt she could not yet manage to rise. The burden of unspoken syllables that needeed to be freed, was pinning chassi to the earth.
The youngen was so frightened that moisture glistened in shimmering pools as they peered disbelievingly at her sire. At least she could have been of some help. Pillars finally crumbled beneath lithe bod, and plush gently removed the crimson from the nares of kissers of Windago. Not knowing what else she could do except crouch at his side and pray to the heavens. Dial pressed close to his, flutes picking up on his faint chorus. Pain stabbed at her heart, her sire did not even whisper the hint of her blessing when his life flashed before him. She was of no importance to this fine steed of charcoal of whom was her world. The dismay wanted to spring talons beneath her to sob in private; but she was the only one at his side now. She must remain, even if he did not wish her to.
