She's not bleeding on the ballroom floor, Just for the attention. Because that's just ridiculously on. Well, she sure is going to get it. Here's the setting; Fashion magazines line the walls now, The walls line the bullet holes.
A small whinny left his flutes as he jogged around and around nervously. He flipped his banner up and down on his appaloosa hide. Spring was finally over! That scent should be gone now! It was driving him up the wall. He had never lived somewhere with a large group of mares as it was here. Their smells of being in season had driven himself up the wall. Now his own body ached to release the sperm to fertile some mare’s eggs. He was only a stag, this was nature, and this is what screamed at him to be done.
But no, he had locked himself far into the island ground, deep in the rain forest. Just so he didn’t embarrass himself before the king that owned these lands and the fair sun-kissed maiden that had brought him done from his pedestal. He stopped and sniffed the air hungrily. The thought of her brought chills up and done his body. His muscles shook with excitement in his coat. He whinnied again, louder. He just wanted to see her.
He hadn’t seen her for so long, because he had locked his soul away. Now he was eager to see her pretty, strong, bold face once more. He wouldn’t try anything. No, it was summer now, and the scent’s will be gone. He was so stressed and excited and so many other things at the moment, he felt like an Energizer bunny. Around and around and around he trotted. His tail flipping up and down, his skull down, his eyes watching his step. His hooves falling into a pattern as he trotted around and around.
He paused once more, sniffed the air and let out another whinny. Crying out once more for Aurora and no one else. With a grunt, he tried to calm himself. He had already worked a sweat into his hide, and now he was still bouncing around and around. With a smack of his front hooves on the sands, he bucked slightly. Kicking his hind talons to the sky.
With a pause, he stood still for like a moment or two, breathing heavily. His appaloosa hide was soaked with sweat. His bright, now gentle eyes looked out. They looked so much like Oasis’s eyes, for she was his mother. No one knew, not even he nor her, but was of her birthing, strange as it was. That wasn’t on his mind right now though, only Aurora.
He started up his circling again, grunting with each step, he had to see her or he would be driven crazy. Jog, jog, jog. That was all that was in his mind now. Around, around, around. Pant, pant, pant. Stopping again an anxious whinny left his flutes yet again.
“Aurora!”
He called out for her this time, calling her to him. He just wanted to see her. He couldn’t even see straight he wanted to see her so badly. He grunted softly and tried to calm himself down. He didn’t want her to see this messed up side of him. With a huff he actually sat down on his hind haunches, sitting like a dog, trying to calm down his excitement.
She didn't choose this role… But she'll play it and make it sincere. So if you cry, you cry. Give me a break. But they believe it from the tears, And the tears right down to the blood at her feet. Boys will be boys, Hiding in estrogen and wearing over dreamed-dreams.

No more spring! Alas she didn’t have to hiss at the opposite sex when they passed, and no more did she have to worry about appearing attractive to the local males. Now she’d be able to be more broad, and her scent not becoming distracting. It was a lot more comfortable. She had been a busy body lately, gaining the title of queen, having a proper conversation with Windago and Oasis for the first time in ages, and learning to teach her self patience. Because being lead, she could gain the pleasure of scaring petty equine off her island. Now, she had to test them, and she needed the patience to do that. Aurora was learning, and so far she was a lot calmer.
Tossing her dial in the air, she snorted aloud to alert any horse near that she was approaching, her stance tall and prouder then ever. Strutting down the isle with surprising grace, golden orbs swept over the Island, studying each grain and blade of grass shooting from their sockets, as her name rushed through her harks. A frown burrowed across her forehead for a moment, as she failed to guess who it was. Quickening her pace once more, the dotted stallion awaited her near the water’s edge. A giggle slipped from her jaws, as she made her way down towards the expecting brujo.
There was something about him that was so familiar. It was frustrating; it felt like she already knew him. His eyes. There was something about his eyes, she thought once she had reached his side. She stared for a moment, almost frightening actually. Those chocolate eyes – she knew them from somewhere. Blinking her self out of her trance of sorts, she coughed silently under her breath awkwardly. Looking back in his direction, she inhaled a deep breath as she dropped her smile.
“What’s up?”

./Colburn ./Just hold me tightXxx Soft nicker released his flutes as he saw the flame-kissed maiden glide down the beach like she had wings on her feet. His deep chocolate orbs widened as she neared. Suddenly he remembered all of what he had been trying to avoid over Spring. He didn't want to embaress himself! All a sudden, she was by him, and that over powering scent wasn't there! He nickered softly, his gentle eyes finding hers for a moment.
He was almost shocked as she looked back into his, but there was confusion in her eyes rather then a simple hello. He kicked up his hind heels happily. Nickering softly, he danced to the side. He just wanted to have fun, and for all he knew, what he was about to ask her was something rather stupid and ridiculus.. And may not be possible through horses.
He had seen humans once before in his life. He had been in something they called a Rodeo, and he had been ridden, and he had thrown people off his back. But he wasn't thinking about that. He was thinking about how that guy had held that girl close and had danced with her.
Placing a fore talon out, he bowed deeply to her.
"Will you dance with me, m' lady?" He asked. Loser! You can't just ask one of the highest ranking mares and the proudest, toughest mares to dance! She is going to kick you a.ss again... He thought to himself. He gulped. He going to take a chance. ((No effing muse now!!))

Normally, she wouldn’t consider falling head over heels for a rankless brute. Usually she’d make the lead fall in love with her, and then she’d gain all the pleasure. But – this time it was not the case. Windago; was practically her dad. But Colburn here, he was a stunner. But something about those eyes wouldn’t accept him, like she didn’t want to be near him, afraid of what she might do, or say. And Aurora would always trust her instincts; she’d never just ignore that voice in the back of her mind, screaming at her no to try anything. Aurora was always right, too.
She blinked, and stared blankly at the brute as he lowered his bulk, bowing to her of sorts, and asking her to dance. Dance? Horses don’t dance. And Aurora didn’t dance. Back where she used to be, they held balls every so often, and she would normally have to carry the woman over from their rooms, and they held each other’s waists, and stepped in time with music. But it was physically impossible for equine to preform such an art. She snickered under her breath tossing her skull lightly in the air to rid fringe from her eyes.
“Me, dance with you?”
Brows quirked, shooting a cold, stern face in his direction. Ehh, now what? She loved making fools of others, and she could easily turn around and leave him if she wanted too. She was stronger then he was, and she was lead. She could take advantage of him any way she wanted too, and there was nothing he could do about it.
She smirked, and turned away towards the ocean. The tide was coming in, and the waves weren’t gentle today. It wasn’t that thrashing sound Aurora grew so used to. It was calming, a lot more relaxing. The Island was probably the most beautiful herd in all NSE.
Looking back towards the Appaloosa, she brushed along his cheek with her maw, playfully nipping at his tassel, before pulling away.
“You’ll have to teach me.” ___________________________ [ooc] a pretty sexy post for no muse. [/ooc]

[./sweet. This will be funXxx]
./Colburn ./Just hold me tightXxx When she spoke, and those harsh words floated to his harks, he pinned them and shook his head in shame of himself. He was such a fool, was he not? Oh well, it was worth the shot. Grunting, he tacked a sly grin on his mug. Feeling rejected, he turned to leave, his short, black banner swishing against his rump rejectedly. He stayed though, looking in the oppisite direction, waiting for her to chuckle and walk away. She did not. He turned his skull back to her, and the rest of his bod followed.
His gentle eyes watched her stare out over the soothing waves. The twinkling stars over head attempted to shine on the sea waves, and only shines weakly. He looked up at the stars and the dark blue sky, a smile following his gaze.
He only had one memory his real dam. It was a long time ago, actually it was at the birthing. She had been the most beautiful creature he had ever seen, and she was the first thing he saw. Behind her, the beautiful star sprinkled sky had shone, as now. They were all alone, and he could still hear the swish of the long grass in gentle breeze, smell the fresh scent of water lillies in the pond next to him. She was gleaming white in the moonlight, her dark spots almost unreconizable next to the shimmering whiteness of her coat. She had looked like an angel to him.
She had told him, in a hushed voice, a loving voice that he had never heard accept then. "My child, blessed be you born under the night sky. Remember, if you ever want something so dear to you, just wish upon one of these stars, it will come true, my little star gazer." Then they had come and taken her away. Before he could tell her he loved her, and nurse from her bag, he had been put on a firey black mare that kicked him everytime he asked where his "angel" had gone. He had been told repeatedly that there was never a spotted white mare that gave birth to him. He believed it later on, for he never saw her again.
With a sigh, he saw a shooting star. His mug pointed to it and followed it acrossed the sky. He then closed his eyes and whispered gently, "I am here. I will find you. I remember you, my angel." Then, like pulling out of a dream, he felt her touch his cheek softly. His cheek burned where she had stroked him. He flinted a warm smile at her, he had never been touched in such a way! Returning it gently to her soft cheek, he turned to face her directly.
"To tell you the truth, I have never danced before. I have only dreamed of doing so." He replied softly. The waves crashed gently on the shore, like calming music. That would be their beat. Stepping forward, he wrapped his boa around hers, and laid his skull upon her stron back with a glup. Hopefully she wouldn't freak at him touching her so. He took a step back, and then to the side. Swaying his bodice with the crash of the wave. Whispering softly in her auds, he spoke gently. "One step at a time. Don't be afraid to touch me. Listen to your feet and heart and the sound of the waves, and you will get it." He closed his eyes, and then got closer to her, holding her close like in a daydream. The ocean breeze blew their tassels back and forth, soon they were tangled together into one mane. Their hides touched as they swayed to the music of the isle. [./aww..Xxx]

She smirked, feeling his touch upon her cheek. Nickering gently under her breath, she flinched as he nestled around her. You’d think she’d be angered if some one touched her in such a way, but she didn’t, amazingly. Delicate nape wrapped around his in return, as she heard the words ‘Don't be afraid to touch me.’ Smirk only widened, as she pressed her breast against him, completely enveloping his warmth, as flirtatious words flicked from her jaws;
“Oh – I’m not afraid to touch you.”
Satisfied smirk remained on her mask, as she followed his direction. Fore limbs aligned with his, the fur on her appendages almost touching his, as she made a complete flawless verse, at the same time he did.
She exhaled a breath, pushing the ebon tassel near her plush away, shutting lids closed for a moment. Oh, Aurora – being an idiot again. You felt this way with what’s-his-name, and then with the black and white paint stallion, you don’t even remember their names! Why can’t you bring back a good boyfriend for once? You defeated this one in less then twenty minutes. Of all stallions, Aurora…When will you learn not to get hurt again?
Ignoring every scolding word that came from her mind, she let her self fall completely under his influence – even though she also had to ignore that screaming voice at the back of her head, telling her to stop. ___________________________ [ooc] i know! soso cute. aurora's going slut-style. whoo. lol my plot type thing, is to have Aur fall in love with him, then he'll admit he's oasis' son xD she'll be heart broookke.[/ooc]

./Colburn ./Just hold me tightXxx They rocked and swayed together, the biggest grin on his face was placed there by the gods theyselves. He had never thought that being with a mare and not harming her could be so...so fun? So fresh? So loving? He didn't know. All the words that tried to find out the word for the word that came after so__ was.. Blank. There were no words to describe the feeling that floated in his chest. He just wanted to be with her forever and ever. To hold her for the rest of his life and never let go. He would protect her with his life. He would never harm her...again.
Swaying, he closed his eyes and held her closer, his boa bending as he pressed her closer to his masculine bod. Chuckling deep in his chest, he nibbled at her tassels.
"I would never dream of this happening to me. Ever. I thought mares were the enemy. Now I find that they are the next best thing to breathing."
He said softly. He nuzzled the back of her boa, and rubbed his mug under her tassels with gentle nickers that followed his deep grunts of sweetness. He was falling in love. Was this possible? No. Not Colburn, the child of Blackjack and.... Who was that mystery mare that told him that if he ever wanted anything in his life, to wish on a star and it would come true. He needed to find her. One of these days, but right now he was busy. Dancing the night away with the mare that he was falling for. [./AH! Monday. Back to school. Muse is like all limp and crapXxx]

(Growl. Sorry for being away so long. And kick me later for butting in! ) A lone maiden stood abrest the crown of a golden dune. The sands strong enough to support her lithe bod as dainty talons stood silent and still. T'was funny, that alone, one grain can be crushed by the wings of a butterfly, yet together, form mountains and defy time. The winds whistled about the beach, tugging at her creamy plumes and swirling about pillars as if the dove was only a ghost. Swift had she arrived, and reluctent at her own stay. Pools knowing they had no right to be prying 'pon the special relationship that was unfolding at the beach like the opening bud of a rose. But t'was this obvious relationship that was causing Oasis the grief and shock. Aurora, and...the dark beast of which the Appy was sure had been spring from her own fruits. Yet if that was so, he was sporned of the devil. Colburn, son of Blackjack. Of which she was nothing more than a simple concubine, held against her will and with no rights of her own. Beneath the wrath of a beast that only knew hatred, his son hath surely inherited his traits? Aurora dancing with death. Oasis's closest friend so close to being stabbed yet again. The subdued fea was torn with what she should do, her absence from the usual gathering had done little to ease her thoughts or help her grasp a conclusion. The polka dot Appaloosa let the grains swirl in a veil about voids, closing lids as the biting grains struck her flesh, yet the pain could not over ride her aching heart.
As her vision cleared, chasms focused 'pon the speck of dark dotted flesh, her son? He held the same confident stance, as if peering through a rippled glass that showed an ancient the past, father and son, father and son. Was all that could flow unwittingly through cranium. Of course, love plucked the chords of her eart, what mother can not love her son? But love, trust and affection are entirely different things. And Oasis only associated one with this devil that danced before her. No matter how swift of dagger, the past always catches up.
But her past should not devastate the life of the crimson vix, and on just one electrical impulse of the mind, pillars spurred dainty physique down the sanded dune. Dust and grains flung up by daggers in a swirling cloud about chassi as eventually Oasis cme to the side of the pair. Advancing next to Aurora, gait slowing and mind collecting thoughts. Remembering just in time that Aurora was now above her own ranking. Dial dipped elegantly, melodies threading through the litho, yet tinged with uncertainty and worry that her presence will already be taken with hostility
My Queen
Talons then halted, gripping the earth, as emerald gaze flicked from Aurora, to the beast, and back to her Queen. It seemed there was no explanation nor easy way to convey her thoguhts, and so lyrics just tumbled as they arranged themselves in her tiara. Maybe too strongly than correct for addressing the royalty.
You can not fall for this brute. He has the blood of evil in his veins, and can only cause you pain.
As his father caused me her thoughts struck in silence. She knew that maybe she was taking her anger for her past lord out on the son that had found her, even if it was unknowingly. But maybe, if there was a chance that Colburn truly was as bad as Blackjack, Oasis could never live with herself if she had to watch Aurora suffer. Even if it was a broken heart, Aurora was capable of that, despite how much she gaurded her inner soul. The Appy had seen her love and affection. The crimson one was special.
Auds twined into the locks of gold 'pon her tiara, feeling sudenly like a stranger, she knew she should not have been apart from the herd for so long, but her chassi had remained 'pon the island, she had kept her word. Shyness pushed gaze to the warm sands beneath daggers, feeling her insides squirm. What was her right to try and sabotage a couples's love? Maybe she had jumped to a conclusion too early, but she could not help being reminded of her master every time pools strayed to the dotted brute beside her. Physique flinched even now, supressing the need to cower, his stance was so alike, and when the chords slipped from his maw, they held the same steel that caused shivers of distress coursing along her spine. Oasis supressed the urge to run, more than an urge.....a need.
Yet now she had disturbed the Queen, she should at least stay to convince her not to continue this charade. Oasis knew not the excuse she would use, admitting this equine was of her bloodlines would be admitting something too great to bear. Good or bad news she did not know. Colburn was her son, after all, no matter what. Wasn't he.

a . urora xx [ YOU'RE A TOUCH OVER RATED ]
She listened to his words in silence, as he nibbled at her chords. It was this kind of affection that got her in trouble. She already knew his intentions. Knock her up, leave. It happened every single time that it was almost unbelievable. Kiroyume got his way with her, and when Anubis was born, he didn’t want anything to do with her anymore. Then Lockhart. Aww, Lockhart. The black and white steed to gave her a deformed filly, and left her to deal with her pain by her self. After that, she didn’t want anything to do with the opposite sex. Because she knew how tough it was to have your heart broken. And she had it done twice to her. Something inside of her, hoped, that he wouldn’t do the same. She kicked his ass,, though, remember? It was common sense though. He backed down, after she kicked some sense into him. At least that’s what she wanted to believe. It was about time a self served stallion came to her, everyone else was too caring, and lovey dovey to mares. Throwing ‘you’re so beautiful’ around all the time. They thought they were deep.
She rested her skull on his shoulder blade, orbs sheathed for a moment, as she drowned in her thoughts that brought back the most bitter of memories. Memories she never, ever wanted to revisit. Though, maybe it was unavoidable, if she let another stallion in her life.
Soon, her thoughts were interrupted by unwanted speech. She pulled away from Colburn, and took several steps backwards. Lifting left forelock in the air, and tucking it to her chest, she eyed Oasis, and back to Colburn. Shit. The guy that tried to kill her. Now she was literally falling head of heels for this guy.
She awkwardly darted gaze around the area, before quirking a brow at oasis’ speech. ‘Can only cause you pain.’ Dentals clenched in anger at those words. Fuck, if there was something she’d learned to live with, it was pain. She wanted to be with Colburn, she didn’t want to believe a word her best friend had just spoken. She shook her skull stubbornly, answering her;
“I don’t know what you’re talking about..”

./Colburn ./Just hold me tightXxx
He was so happy. His heart beat rapidly in his chest as she held tight. The world seemed stopped at his touch. At her touch. At their touch. It felt like his world was made out of glass. So fragile. So easy to break.
And it shattered. So quickly it had shattered the moment it had began, it broke. He heard those words; "You can not fall for this brute." Why not? "He has the blood of evil in his veins, and can only cause you pain." Pain. It rang in his ears as badly as Valentina's screams did as his father smashed his hooves upon her skull. Valentina...He missed her so much, and Blackjack murdered her; in turn making a monster of his son. Colburn had just been put back together..Now something was wrong.
Wait. "He has the blood of evil in his veins..." How did she know? ... He was confused now, greatly. How did this little spotted mare know of his past? He wasn't evil now, but his past; Blackjack reigned in his eyes. Now he just saw a devil with horns and a red tail at the thought of his father.
He winced as he felt the coolness of Aurora backing away from his like he was something disgusting. His heart shattered looking at her confused face that looked to him as hate and unforgiving. He turned his dial to the side, and blinked back the pain that etched his face. He couldn't control it. His face carved into a painful etch, his grin plastered happily moments before had vanished and now held a frown. His eyes.. Oh his eyes. They seemed broken, shattered like his heart. They were unfocused and held all the pain in the world.
He stared at the dust between his feet. His eyes began to blurr, but no tears fell of course. He wished they would. He never looked up.
Aurora's words soon echoed in his skull after Oasis's did; "I don’t know what you’re talking about.." Now she would never love him as much as he did her. He would go the rest of his life with this pain in his chest. He backed away a few paces. He didn't want Aurora to see the pain the contored his face. She didn't need to know how lost he felt now.
Looking up slowly, he looked in Oasis's eyes with his own. Her eyes. They looked... Like his own. They held the same shape. But something seemed broken just like his own right now. She seemed heartbroken; but he would never know. He didn't care right now. The pain shined through his eyes into hers;
"Why?
He asked softly. Why did she had to come and ruin it? Why? Couldn't anyone see he loved Aurora? No. No one would understand. Only Windago. The stag that spoke of a spotted mare that he longed to hold... [occ; Crappy posty]

From lashes to ashes And from lust to x.dust .x In your sweetest torment I'm lost And no heaven can help us Ready, willing and able To lose it all For an ¬embrace¬ so fatal And so warm
A moment came...and passed. Dragging with it unveiling events the the spotted dove wished she could undo. Aurora pulled away from the brute, every action viewed from emerald voids seemed to happen in slow motion. Causing the pain of every second to last an eternity.
Oasis held her breath, waiting for an outburst from the crimson one. But instead the Queen crystal pools disolved into...guilt? The polka dot mare quickly glanced back to Colburn. Oh my God, did she know? Was Aurora's discomfort because she knew Oasis and Colburn were related? The thought chilled the Appaloosa's blood, and talon's gripped the very changing sand as if she would crumble at any moment. Indeed the world spun at a terryfing rate, lappets flicked back into creamy forelock. But then her sharp, curious lyrics cut sharply through the litho, breaking Oasis's spell. The ex-Queen forced concentration, pulling strength like silver strands from deep reserves she didn't know she had. Still the silence drew on, Oasis studied Aurora intently, until reassured her confusion was genuine. And not a charade to hide her guilt.
The femmora breathed again. Yet now what? Gaze turned to the brute, trying now to assess the behemoth. Oasis had never really studied Colburn before, just like she had never studied Blackjack. T'was a beatable ofence to gaze 'pon her master. The Appaloosa's baritones swept through Oasis's listeners. But the dove blocked them, lies were all too easy to let slip through labrums. But always, the body gave away the secrets. Now, when Colburn locked gaze with hers, Oasis took the opportunity to study his soul, fighting the urge to flinch, or divert gaze. God, he was so alike. In every curve, stance, and hiss, yet his eyes. Those pools of brilliance, were...different.
The soverign decided finally that Colburn was also in the dark, he had not clicked. Good, she was completely in control. Well, maybe not good. We all know of Oasis's decision making skills, or lack of them. To run was the answer to everything. Yet this time, too much hung in the balance, since fleeing from her prison, the frightened, beaten angel had learned to think of other's, trust other's, even love another. Options, that was what she needed, options.
1/ Colburn was her son. And Aurora had fallen for him, as in, true love. Head over heels, madly, truely, deeply. You get the picture. So, that would make the flame-kissed Queen, Oasis's daughter-in-law.
Putting it that way made Oasis visably gasp in shock. Daughter-in-law? Lord, the Appaloosa fea felt so old. It would change everything, wouldn't it?
2/ Colburn wasn't her son. That was not possible. Oasis had to accept this was a product of her fruits, a devil of Blackjack. If she did not face up to this, who would?
Would she tell? Well, she had to now, at least, admit something. Anyway, what was the worst that could happen?
Oasis took a deep breath, closing lids over pitts for a moment, summoning every last ounce of strength. She didn't know quite where to look, and glance darted from one to the other being.
I know the sire of Colburn. The brute's curse is Blackjack, the leader of my previous herd. My previous tormenter. Colburn...is my son
Emerald pools ended up at Colburn, glistening moisture building in their depth's. Her breath were trapped in her lungs, too afraid to escape to sweet release. Millions of questions flooded her brain, each one too big to even get a grasp 'pon, but each one clambering ever closer.
What would Colburn think? Was this the right time? What would Aurora think? What if she was completely wrong? Good God, there was a million reasons why this was wrong, but one why this was right. It was the truth. And if there was one thing Aurora and Colburn deserved was the truth. No matter what the consequences to herself. Oasis locked her knees to stop herself crumpling, lids closed over pools once more, before flicking open and swiftly glancing from one to the other. Aurora knew of Oasis's past, of what the Appaloosa had suffered, and even Oasis herself could not promise Colburn's personality. No suprise if the only son to return to her side would hate her forever.
Dainty daggers took one step back, preparing to dash if things came to violence, from whichever being cracked first. Nape lowered, thorns clasped tight to tiara. She would deserve every blow. She couldn't quite remember the reaon why, but she had torn somethign to tatters.
Oh it's heartache every moment From the start 'til the end] It's heartache every moment With you Deeper into our heavenly suffering Our fragile souls are f a ll ing It's heartache every m o m e n t Baby with you [/sup]

She could tell this wasn’t going to be good. The next words out of Oasis’ mouth were not going to be pleasant. The way they all looked at each other, it was in their eyes. What did they knew that she didn’t?
Literally, her entire figure shuddered into a complete freeze. This was not happening. It all made sense now. The only reason she thought she loved Colburn, was all because he reminded her so much of Oasis. Oasis as a male would be brilliant. No matter how weird that sounded. Stubborn, caring, kind, beautiful, match made in heaven.
“What the fuck?”
She blinked, trying to shake her self back into reality, before realising, this was reality.
With painful eyes, her gaze strayed across from one equine to the next, trying to put this all together. Aurora was not going to be related to Oasis. Even though that brought them closer, and gave her a reason to feel disgusting if she left her. But…the relationship they had now suited Aurora just perfectly. It was shame though; they’d make a happy family.
She turned to face the calming ocean, just staring in such emotion, she couldn’t describe it. Heart broken, angry, deceived, hurt, were just a few.

Colburn. Say that again? What? What? Say that one more time...No. What did she say, one more time?.."Colburn...is my son." No. My mother is Theao, bytch of Blackjack's beaten down herd. No, my real mother is dead. She died that night out on the prairie under the stars when she told him the very words that still echoed in his skull to this day; "My child, blessed be you born under the night sky. Remember, if you ever want something so dear to you, just wish upon one of these stars, it will come true, my little star gazer." He killed her. "I know he killed her. She is gone, you can't be my mother." He whispered. He shook his dial, his eyes closing and his skull lowering to the ground. Memories running through his dial. Lifting his dial, he shook his dial again and again. Looking this mare in the eye, he gulped. "No."
Spinning on his powerful hindquarters he ran. He would run from his fears. This couldn't be happening. No. A small scream left his kissers as he continued to race through the trees, tossing his dial from side to side, back and forth. No. Mom is dead. She would never leave me with him. She wouldn't. She isn't my dam. Theao is my mother. No, this can't be happening! He ran through the trees, dodging the branches and grown cover. This isn't happening! This is screaming, this is screaming. Boys will be boys, boys will be boys, baby. He raced and raced, his heart beating faster, faster. It felt like it was going to break before he finally stopped, forcefully.
He slammed on the brakes as he reached a high cliff that dropped off into the ocean. He didn't know how far he had run, he had just run. Running away from his problems. Staring down the cliff, he gulped and stepped back. Turning around he walked around and around in a circle. His spotted hide soaked with sweat, and his sides heaving. Why did this happen to him? Of all people? You should never pitty yourself, Colburn! Pitty poor Aurora, did you see her face? He nearly choked, she would be heart broken. She would never want to look at him now. Why did this happen?!
I wouldn't be caught dead in this place. I'm exactly where you like me, huh? I'm afraid that I'm not supposed to be here.

It's like lighting candles in the rain- Sometimes life can be a pain, But don't give up without a fight. Oasis felt as if her dotted chassi was being squeezed into imposssible proportions. her ribcage could not lift, could not pull another gasp of air into deflated lungs. Deflated hopes. Deflated spirits. The doe's thoughts span like a whirlwind caught in a traffic jam. Nothing made sense, nothing had a reason. Where was life, what was it like? Why are the colours bleeding into one? Sometimes when you feel afraid, don't give up and run away. Cause' two wrongs don't make a right. What's the point in crying when you've done nothing wrong. It was right there all along. As the crimson vix's chords struck harsh and true, the Appaloosa's earth stopped spinning, and reality slammed abrubtly back into focus. Oasis stood rooted, Aurora's chords had struck true. And as the brute started spilling fierce, passionate tones from his layrnx, the dotted dove could only stand as if in another world, as one thought spun about cranium Shit. What had she done? This wasn't a mistake she could go back on. The world had been altered, for good. And it was all the fault of one lone angel. One femmora lost and forgotten, beaten yet strong, present yet distant. For the heartbeat when the fea seemed to be viewing the world from an underwater looking glass, Oasis could see the universe, and took small comfort in knowing how small and insignificant she was anyway. It didn't matter, one day she would die... The world's nothing but a lie and everyone is going to die But what can I say? Just help me make it through today. You don't need a destination just to go somewhere in life. But like a cruel blow, Oasis's whole physique flinched as Colburn spat out how defiant and sure he was that Oasis wasn't his mother. And the Appaloosa damsel knew why it hurt. Because it wasn't true. Colburn's dam wasn't dead, nor murdered, she was here. Emerald voids watched as the behemoth took flight, sped from the scene. Reinacting so many times when Oasis had simply fled and tried to forget. Now, finally, the fea knew that was not the answer. With every pounding beat of the brute's scythes, the Appy mare pulle din a fresh breath into lungs. Refilling her wounded soul with the silver strength to not crumple. This time, Fate would not make her submit and squirm, Oasis would rise, challenge, and forge her own path in destiny. It's like throwing feathers at the wind- They come right back to you again. So why not give it one more try? Gaze turned back to the fiesty, flamed vix. This did not deserve to happen to Aurora. And Oasis felt responsible for the downfall of her love. In the depths of her stare, the polka dot minx pleaded forgivness. And spoke the promise that dapples and flames would coinside once more. There was a lot of explaining to do, but...later I'm so...sorryPathetic really, after all the chaos Oasis had caused. The grief, confusion and shattered illusions. But then pistons were spured into motion, daggers clawed at the turf. And dotted chassi sped after the only son Oasis was sure she had, the only one to have returned to her side. Fate had given her this precious gift, and she would not let it go. The Appaloosa doe kept up her flying speed, follwing the dappled bulk of the brujo before her, awaiting the time when he slowed. For the chase can not last forever. Fleeing is only a short term solution. The pain still remains no mater how many miles bridge the gap. A shrill whinny broke the rushing silence of zephry that sped through the creamy locks of the dove. Calling Colburn to halt, listen. Find the true explanation of his past. Be true to your soul. Just cause' things aren't what they seem It doesn't mean you shouldn't dream Just don't get your hopes to high. Cause' when things don't turn out right You world comes crashing down.
