.\\ Bow downHe tilted his head slightly. A sign of thought. He let a sigh out through his large nares before preceeding to circle her. Checking to see if she really could be of use to him in the future. After around three rotations around the golden mare he stopped in his previous position. Sinking right back into the indents that were still there. "Perhaps. What am I getting in return?" He asked simply. Crane wouldn't confirm a deal until he was sure he got something that would be of use to him sometime soon. And if it were a flimsy bargain he would leave the equine at that. to your future leader //.

She stood still, letting him circle and inspect her. At 17.3 hands a mare doesn't fear too many stallions. Her optics followed him back to his position, and she dipped her head slightly to him.
You get a strong mare to follow you, and whom throws large foals. Or, will, whenever I'm bred, as I've yet to find a brute whom will stay long enough. I'm very loyal, and I fight fairly well, if there is ever a need.
Perhaps not the best bargain in the world, but it's what she's got to work with. Her short flag swished along behind her, flipping in the wind that blew against the big mare.

.\\ Bow downHe thought for a moment. She could be of use, possibly. Some time in the future anyway. "Alright. I'll take you up on the deal. You could be of use in my plot." Crane said with a nod. She was good enough for whatever was coming soon. He turned his auds slightly. Most of the other equines around the area were starting to walk away. Heading off to their homes for the evening and the rest of the night. His long banner flicked slightly as he thought for a moment more. He could use one of his 'lackies' around now. For he didn't feel like trying to explain the plot to her. to your future leader //.

AUTUMN.one While most everyone was walking away however, Ontaria was walking towards the equines he had just seen, the one quite familiar. This animal, he was very certain, had tipped him and his darling sister off about the territories and he was rather pleased to be seeing him again after their exchange of similar opinion. Of course his sister, oh she was the much better speak than him, or much better thinker, but what she lacked was ambition, she was practically a waste. He squinted to see the male’s features, it was becoming darker now so obviously more difficult. Well, from this distance he might have been wrong, he was sure his own coat must not even look paint anymore, and it was such a distinguishable pattern. He decided quickly to scope them out, move closer to the horses and see if this stranger was actually a familiar. And so Ontaria was on the move. His ‘short’ legs pumping furiously, his heart’s pace beginning to pick up, and his body, stopping. He as there, already. Such a short distance. It was here he perked his ears and listened closely as he was catching the last piece of their conversation came to him, even if they were still only beginning when her interrupted. Closer now, he did look quite familiar and the word plot made his head whirl. Was he truly thinking something, or was this a deranged stallion’s pick up line? “Thinking of contracts are you?” he said in a manner like he knew the other stallion. And he was almost positive they had conspired before.

Harks flicked towards the new stag, one still poised towards the stag whom still had yet to give her his name. How very rude. No matter, she slightly dipped her skull, though it made little difference, her head was still above the others. Short flag flicked, orbs watching the splotched stag speak.
A dagger scuffed the sand, nape snaking out and shaking, ridding her hide of restlessness.
[[ oh gods, the shortness :X ]]

.\\ Bow downHis auds turned back to hear the short strides of another coming towards them. The churning sound somewhat disturbed him. Let's just say that it wasn't one of his most favorite sounds in the world. A familiar voice came to him just as soon as the other sound stopped. He turned his large crania towards the far shorter stallion and snorted. He seemed to be telepathic, being able to call upon his minions without using his voice. "As always, Ontaria." Crane said turning back towards Sevyrn. He was always good with names, if they made an impression on him. "If you would explain our plot to this maiden that would be helpful. As I don't feel like it. That is, if you remember it." The large brute said with an intimidating tone. He gave a sideways glance towards the small stallion and waiting. to your future leader //.

The mare he came upon towered over him like the greatest tree. Ontaria looked at her as she fiddled with the earth on the beach, giving her a sideways glance a little irked. He felt quite small and quite insignificant. Despite this, in the dying light he turned his attention to the stallion, practically ignoring her for she was very unimportant at the moment. And indeed his curiosities paid off, for he did know this animal, Crane, Ichabod. He knew it as soon as he said Ontaria’s name. Knew it write away. And if he knew that Crane thought of him like a minion he would be seething by now, as it were, he was perfectly oblivious to this mentality. “And an almost useless females,” he added, giving her another look. He did not actually mean it; sure he respected the opposite sex. Most of the time. “Is she smart then?” Crane looked back at her.
Now, it was what the stallion continued on with next that truly bothered Ontaria, what he said that made him positively sick, and whirl with a sense of dizzy irritation. His tone, oh that was worst of all. “That is, if you remember it.” Maybe it should have bothered him that Crane was so lazy, that he was acting superior- granted he was considerably larger-, and that he lacked the kind of ambition he should have, but it didn’t really, he was useful, and he had a brain, a mind set, and it was their shared idea. The lack of equality killed him, stabbed him in the chest, like he were just a pawn. Teheki would laugh, and then she would try to crush them both. Ontaria snarled for a moment but quickly became civil.
“Why of course,” he said, looking Crane right in the eye, and then he turned away, casually staring into space. “As if I had killed me own father, or at least chased him off.” He said the last part to himself, a glow of self-loathing washing over him. Like most young males, Ontaria of course had been driven from his herd and unable to challenge and win, followed at a distance. He ignored his thoughts and turned onto the mare, looking up to her, hunching even, he had no need to show off at the moment. “The herds here are weak, that needs to be fixed. Do you understand?” She might clue in. He was purposely ambiguous.
Edit; for typos. ^^

Hrmph. I wonder who he thinks he's talking about Sevyrn thought, nippers grinding together slightly. Before, she was a lead mare of a small band, and was quite used to putting Smart Alec's in their places. She was urged to do it to him, but merely snorted, looking cross.
Of course I understand. Who wouldn't?
She replied in a tone less than kind. Pistons shifted, hide twitching. Her dial lifted, nares flared, waiting for more of an explanation.
[[too much effort to put the color thing, i give on it XD)

.\\ Bow downCrane listened to Ontaria speak. Sort of. He wasn't really much of a listener when it came to people he could step on with no problem. "She's pretty smart from what I have heard. Has a strong mind." He replied to the earlier question with a slight nod. He listened to his short explanation about the plot that they had in mind. And then to the reply of the mare. Good enough He thought to himself. Maybe later he would be talkative enough to explain in more detail to her. "Right then." He said with a snort. Thinking for a moment about nothing in particular. "You with us or not?" Crane asked blunty, swinging his banner in boredom. to your future leader //.

Crane had just replied to him and Ontaria smiled. At least this much was useful. Over the years he had developed a strong distaste for idiots, and if she did have a brain in her head, and a pinch of femininity, her use could become endless much in the way Teheki would be useful. And then she snorted at him. Snorted! Clearly he had offended her, but clearly she had not understood what he meant when he said females were absolutely useless. Ontaria was beginning to wonder how much more mild humiliation would be stalking him this evening. This was ridiculous. She responded though, equally ambitious, and that did him no good. If she didn’t understand she was doing a darn good job of covering it up. She certainly wasn’t the most friendly of animals, but he nodded in return, asking, “Your name?” next.
After she had replied of course, and Ontaria managed to slip in a question of names, Crane continued to trek on. It was a bit mindless in his opinion, especially since she did not know what her duties would include, so the stallion in all his false glory decided to fill her in. Clearly she was waiting for such an explanation. “We would want you to try and take the territories, through use of the current leads if they, or until they are overthrown. Manipulate them.”

The large bronze mare shifted, tail flicking, ears pricked forward as the mare turned her great head towards the smaller stag, listening to his words. After a moment of thinking it over, she nodded her head slightly.
I'm in. Manipulating these brutes shouldn't be too hard, I think.
Her large eyes held a gleam of delight, though the rest of her showed no such glee. Her focus flicked onto the giant stag, starting to look cross again before looking back to the smaller and dipping her head again.
My name, is Sevyrn. And yours? - And I mean both of you.
Sevyrn replied, her tone more light than before - before it had been cool due to the remark about mares being almost useless, now she was fine, relaxed, all in just a moment of talk. She shook her mane and neck, snorting at nothing in particular. One could think what she said - the 'and i mean both of you' bit was disrespectful, but in truth, she did respect, and that is exactly why she waited this long for a name. She was his age, she could tell, and scarcely shorter, both of them were large, she wasn't too very intimidated, but she was respectful enough not to push too hard.

.\\ Bow downHe snorted as she talked of manipulating a stallion. Her, a mare, having an influence on a stallion? Poppycock! He almost wanted to laugh out loud at such a thought, but then he would look insane. Can't have that happening. The insane ones never get any respect. They just get put into restraining jackets and thrown into seclusion. Can't have that happening, eh? He auds twitched. He hadn't told her his name yet? Hm. He could've sworn he had done that already. Maybe that was the weird mare before her. Well, this mare was weird to. But, the weirder mare. Her name still slipped him, yep. He was kind of slow at the moment. "Crane. Ichabod Constable Crane." He replied to her question with a slight change in his stance. Pride leaking from his words, and even his pores maybe. He was proud of his name, and he should be. Unique, it was. to your future leader .//

OOC; Hehe, Ontaria’s actually really tiny. ^^ I’d told. Ontaria was still but in his mind he was pacing. She had accepted, not surprising givin’ her attitude, but Crane seemed to be leaving him to hang either because he thought his minion should do all the work, or perhaps the opposite. He was please however that the mare Sevyrn thought it would be quite simple, although she might have been a little arrogant her self confidence gave him confidence that they would one day succeed. For the greater good. Ontaria nodded for the moment then, as they exchanged names. “And Ontaria, as Crane earlier greeted. Yes, it seems much more sensible to introduce ourselves first.” He looked at her face and studied closely then, not wanting to forget the mare. She was a sturdy animal, a kind of dapple, and he burned it into is mind. He turned to Crane for a moment, curious if he would continue, only to see him beaming with an odd glowing pride. Scoffing at him, he decided to share the plan further. “Very well then. We’ll leave it to you to decide who you think it appropriate, ” Ontaria paused, thinking. He did not want to tell her something that would later come back to haunt him; not for trust but for what would be more effective. “It is not enough to simply manipulate them however, we need these fools under all our thumbs.” Yes, that seemed like a moderately fine explanation.
