The bleeding had gotten worse from the attack, she grew weaker by the second. She knew her time had come and she was quite happy, she'd just been wondering alone waiting for Freedom Moon, she had not been able to give birth and the lands she part owned had been taking away as quickly as they came. What else was left for her? Apart from growing old, wondering about uneasily.
Her hoof pushed itself on the first part of the mountain path, then her second. But her third could not find the strength. She fell back in agony as her neck scraped the rocks, little droplets of blood left on the mountain walls. Her stilt had gotten worse. It appeared as a blood ridden sock for her. It was obvious she was losing it fast. She dragged herself to the lake, where she first arrived and where she would like to rest for the final time. She lay under the same tree she always did. She gently placed her neck in the water, gasping to take sips.
The breathing became heavier, and harder to do. Her leg had no feeling left. Her eyes strained, until the heart stopped. This was it.
