So, this is what we've got for the sort of current events. Sort of explains what's going on or will be when it's 'released'. It's probably more vague than it should be, with lame formatting to seperate history from the present.
And someway we need to cram in somewhere that new players can play NSE natives, right? Maybe I'll just do that in the applicationsss. XD
Opinions?
Exciting!

As the summer wore on meteors flew through the sky. An auger might have called it an omen, and surely it was regarded as fantastical, but it was a fabulous light show, and as in the past, some rare nights, stars fell. Two days later, a cataclysmic quake woke the morning.
Within moments the mountain passes became nearly inaccessible, and the shoreline receded out of sight. Thousands of trees shattered and fell to the ground, crushing anyone unfortunate enough to be in their path. The edge of the Cliffs crumbled into the sea. If the desert dwellers could communicate with the inner territories, they would have said the oases have been all but destroyed.
On the Island, the little springs running down from the mountaintop were choked with rumble and the beach scattered with debris. The most peculiar thing however, remained to be the uncharacteristic lack of water. It would be very possible to walk ashore, although it would be an awful long walk. Only the odd rumble came after. So, feeling the worst was past, the herds began to regroup. It wasn’t until the sun had climbed higher into the sky, that they knew something was wrong. And the Islanders knew first.
Far worse than a hurricane came the water, rushing back to land, and before escape was possible, the monstrous wave overtook the Island and the coastline for miles, devastating all it touched. And then silence.---
Many suns after the initial cataclysm the water has yet to recede, quickly becoming stagnated with debris and the rot of the dead. The Rocky Mountains are still inaccessible, and the Desert uninhabitable. The survivors have their backs against the coast and the mountain chain, with little remaining resources, hunted by desperate predators driven from their homes.
In many instances outsiders are being viewed with suspicion by horses who believe they are the sole survivors of an apocalypse. Outsiders, who must face the mountains to reach the forest if they are not lucky enough to cross through the fields.
And as summer comes to a close, the hurricane season is just about to begin.
