Siluette girl

She’s just a shadow of a dreamer
Just a picture on the wall
Once a living breathing person
Now nothing a imaginary stain

Her shadowy features may scare you
But she only wants a friend who can see her
See her, and not the shadow she’s become
See her, and not the tangled dark

See her, just see her heart
But it’s impossible to see beyond the shadow
Impossible beyond the wall
And she’s nothing but invisible


Peace

Her gentle caress is rarely seen
Nor her emotional eyes
She dreams of a world without the fear
The never-ending death

Her tear’s fall as she watches
That slammed shut door
And she sighs over humanity
Dreaming that her words will be noted

But the door’s been closed ever so long
And the window’s not opening
No dove flying above the human race
No harmony, no peace

So she cries and so she wails
Knowing in her heart
That her words are dead and gone
And the rousing shout
Is now a weak whisper

You should spell check for typos but that's really deep! May I ask what inspired it?

umm...I don't know what inspired it really....I just genrally write whatever comes to my mind..for instance I was thinking abot shadow's when I wrote that and I was really rushed when I wrote that I'll spell check it now...all checked! and a new poem to
