I believe this was suggested about 8 months ago, and it was a complete flop.
But I, personally, love c-boxes.

Yup, Amber suggested it, and left shortly after (infact, she used the rejection to her idea as one of her reasons of depature, I believe.)

While shout boxes can be enjoyable we argued that they took away from the basic idea of the site and encouraged OOC action (don't get me wrong, there's nothing bad about out of character interaction, I encourage it) and pulled attention away from the IC focus. As well as this people whom have grudes or you are just idiots love to spam and cuss at members through such a resource. And it is unfortunate feelings can be hurt online.

I think it might be best to avoid it.

I see what you mean, but I've never had a bad experience with one that was like . It's just so much easier to go to teh bottem and be like' Hey, post you ninnie' than having to go and send them a PM and write up a letter. Maybe it's me, but I'm a lazy bum and feel the need to write something of decent length in a PM. *shrug* Oh well.

There's a large chance that passers by will take the opportunity to flame certain members or just generally put the site down :3 Crow speaks the troof (ah, deliberate mis-spellings, fun no?); it'd be best to avoid it.

I like the idea!
I think some of you lot are paranoid, and maybe underestimate the good nature of the rp members. Not that there are't the fools who just aim to be annoying, but overall there aren't that many problems with C-box's!!

Hmm. Well, I think that we should put one up, no offense. Then, if what you are afraid of happening does begin to happen, we can take it away. Like a... punishment. haha. I think that it just gives us peeps something to do and a reason to stay on when nobody else is on, or while we're waiting for a reply post. I love em, personally. But, you're the staff
