.::Dune::. The lone mare

The mare gently shifted her weight and moved closer towards the shore-line. She slammed into a halt and searched for others. None found she continued forth, into steady 2-beat, gradually coming nearer to the oceans edge. He coat was full of dried mud, and her tail flicked in clumps. Dune slammed her bodice into the ocean, aqua splashing around her. She snorted and pinned her ears at a wave rolling in closer to her. She knew it would do no good, and she new it was simply a wave, but as though it was some living creature she reared and leaped into the wave. It threw her off balance ever so slightly, but it was soon caught and she stood still. Now she was soaked from her withers down, yet the water level rested just past her knees. Another wave rolled in closer she snorted and leaped over it, but it crashed into her chest, and slammed her back down, into the oceans floor. Dune pulled herself up, and let out a shake. Slowly she stepped away from the ocean, and as a third wave came at her she let out a kick, slicing her hind pillars into the water. Yet again no harm was done and she stepped free from the water. Instead of shaking like most equines would do, she bolted down the shore line. Water droplets flung from her frame.. He tail whipped behind her. She sparkled from the water as the suns rays his them. She shook her head and released a wild buck then slid to halt. Her shoulders tightened and her fores were lifted from the earth. The mare whipped around and galloped back the other way.

Her nostrils flared and he banner whipped. Sweat slowly began to soak her pelt. She galloped on letting the wind wrap around her. She soon slowed to a smooth canter, then into an extended trot. She moved away from the ocean, but stopped only a few yards off. A grunt was given as she shook her self clean from the sand. Slowly she turned around, wondering if anyone had seen her. She pulled a stunt that she would normally not show. She showed a side never seen by others. She sighed in relief when no one was spotted. Her knees slowly bent and she lowered herself to the sand below. Her hind legs tucked in as she flattened her bodice. Her body twisted and she rolled. That sand felt good along her back. She rolled again before returning to just one side. She rested her skull on the sand, only to find it irritating. She rolled back over on her legs and just held her head up, letting her orbs flutter till they were closed. Her auds still stayed alert, for she knew danger could be around. Evey noise she heard she would open her pools and glance around.

OOC: I needed to post.. This is like twice as long as my last one, which makes me quite glad =D -yay-

Shatan nosy trotted down the beach. Close to the water where it was damp. His hooves sunk into the cool wet sand. He loved the feeling, he pranced and pranced till he noticed another preasence. He looked around then spotted her eyeing her closely he snorted then whinnied letting her know he was there. He swerved then almost seemed to dance, trying to impress her. He soaked his black pelt in the cold water. His coat started to shine...He then rolled around in the hot sand. He jumped upand flicked his tail. So many thoughts went through his head. To many to speak of. He waited till the beautiful mare caught his attention.

Dunes dark auds tipped towards the sound of another. Her bodice still layed in the warming sand and she knew she must rise, the noise could be anything. Though of course, when she heard his call she knew it was nothing more then a brute. She snorted silently and her muscles tightened. Her forelegs streched out in front of her, her hinds tucked in. She raised her skull and heaved her self of up first with her fores, then using her hinds she lifted the rest of her body. She stood away from the stallion, still not seeing him. She shook her frame forcefully, removing the sand particles from her dappling hide. She sighed and turned around to view yet another brute wishing to take her with him.

Dune watched as the stallion tried to impress her. It did no good for such a fae, or at least his way of it did no good. She lowered her crania rubbing her lip along the sand, noing no graze hid below it. She then lifted her head yet again, reaching around to her barrel, nipping at it, then gliding her teeth along her hide. Of course she wasnt done trying to show her boredum, one last thing to top it off. Her maw parted wide in a long yawn. She cleared her nostrils, and slowly turned around. If she were in heat she wouldnt make her self available, but since she wasnt, this is what he got. She waited to see if he would try again, and prove she was worth it.
