Spirit in the Sky, or Sky for short, wandered through the thick terrain of the forest. She liked to walk in the shade, so she didn't mind the terrain. Sky let out a long sigh, she was lonely, she had no friends, she never stayed anywhere long enough to make friends. Sky wasn't very good at socialising, which is one of the reasons why she moved around so much. Other horses saw her as cold and heartless, but inside she was sensitive and caring, though she never had a chance to show it as the hroses she met got bored with waiting for her to open up. The mare sighed as she continued to walk, eating a bit of grass occasionally. The cool shade made her happy, though she longed for someone to share the shade with. Sky lay down on a patch of grass and looked around at the surround trees, wondering if there was a horse out there that would have the patience to get to know her and to make her feel at ease.

Snorting blissfully, the deep mahogany stag plodded happily forth towards the cliffs edge. As he traveled to simply pray to the ones that had lost thier lives to the shadowy crevass, Azreal spotted a dainty looking figure upon the horizon. Breaking into a trot, the stag whinnied out towards the minx, his morgan bodice so powerflu, so streamlined, it looked as if painted by the most careful artist. Formed from rock with a warriors bare hands. He stood besides her and dipped his head respectivly towards her.
"Lo' I am Azreal."
He smiled and continued to walk towards the edge of the cliff. If she followed, her would speak further wors, if she ignored him or walked awya, he would not bother to follow her traits.

Sky looked over at the stallion who had spoken to her, and felling intrigued, decided to follow him. Hello to you as well, I am Spirit in the Sky, but just call me Sky. she said to him gently. Her coat shone in the light and gave her a healthy glow, and she moved her tail about happily, pleased that she had found someone to speak to. She wondered why Azreal was there, but that was none of her business. I'm not on your land or anything, am I? she asked curiously.

He grinned as she chose to followed, he liked it when they did. It gave him something to do, to soothe his boredom. Adues flicked towards the sound of her sweet lyrics. Inclining his head slightly to the left to view her out of the corner of his eye, he nickered to her gently and lipped at her tassles playfully. He let out a short laugh at her last comment.
"My lands!? No, Im a wanderer, I have no home. I thought I'd travel to the cliffs today, but I've found soemthing better."
He smiled, eyes glinting.

Sky smiled and looked out at the view. What is this better thing you have found? she asked playfully. Azreal seemed like a cool stallion, she wondered if they would become friends. She had been lonely for quite a while now and it was good to have a fresh face to talk to. She was relieved to hear that he was just a wanderer, she was the same. I am a wanderer too, I don't think I would be well suited to living life in a herd. I would rather roam around of my own free will, exploring different places and seeing the world.

He grinned at her question, audes percked high upon his crania, eyes wide amd winking dooefully.
"Oh just the most beautiful mare ive ever seen."
He cooed happily, nickering into her audes gently. He nudged her chest playfully and listened to her speaking. He nodded with her. He was the same, much prefering his own rule to someone elses. To be free is to be happy, not caged like a song bird, but wild and soaring high above the clouds like an eagle, bold and proud.

Sky laughed and turned away in embarrassment, she had never been complimented like that before, she was quite modest anyway. Me, beautiful? I think you must mean some other mare. she said with a kind laugh. Sky had never seen herself as attractive, so it surprised her that Azreal had complimented her on her looks. She noticed that he wasn't a bad looking stallion and she was beginning to develop strong feelings towards him. I hardly know him, get a hold of yourself Sky. It's too early to be thinking like this, it may just be a freindly compliment. she thought to herself as she looked out towards the horizon.

He snorted and grinned at her, audes fully forwards, listening only to the sounds of her voice, blocking out the cawing of the ravens and the chirrping of countless other birds. He looked around then back at her.
"I see no other mare around here but you m'lady. And you, though you havn't realised it, are a very good looking creature indeed."
He nickered to her playfully and nuzzled her velvet, stroking her face with his own. Azrael wasnt one to experience 'love at first sight' but he did feel something towards the newcomer. Maybe it was just him being alone for such a long time, or, perhaps, he lusted for love itself. Either way, he knew he would have to battle himself to stop from rounding the amre and leaping on. He wasnt a rapist, nor never would want to be. He was a placid bangel that commanr, and had been dubbed after the angel that commanded as such.

Sky laughed gently and nuzzled Azreal softly. You're also quite good looking yourself. she said gently, and moved her tail around a little. She wasn't in heat, she just moved her tail a lot when she was happy. She looked out over the horizon before moving over to Azreal, letting her side make contact with his own. The touch felt good, she had never had much luck with stallions until now, and it made her happy. She hadn't believed that there was someone out there for everyone until now, she believed she had found her stallion. I can't believe I'm feeling like this, it's too early, I hardly know him, yet the feelings I have towards him keep getting stronger. Sky kept fighting them, she wasn't going to say anything out of fear of making a fool of herself. She would wait for Azreal to make the first move, Sky had never liked making the first move, she always felt so uncomfortable.

He grinned and arched his crest proudly, showing of his fine morgan lines. He whinnied happily, lifting a silver dagger and placing only the tip onto the geo. The sun was high and he moved slightly to the left into a glade streaming with light. For some reason, there was only one small tree on the center of the clearing, so the sun was fierce and bright.
"Why thankyou. I can honestly say you the first to tell me that."
He smiled nervously and stomped a dagger in annoence. He was so bad at this. He wasnt sure was the tingly feeling was in his gut, but he liked it, he was sure she felt it too, but he just couldnt express himself, he was too complex. But he wanted to soo much...

Sky's nerves were on edge, she was experiancing emotions that she had never felt before. She was becoming attracted to Azreal, but she didn't know if he felt the same way about her. Even though he had complimented her, Sky knew deep down that he might have just said those things to be friendly. She took a deep breath and began to bask in the warm sunshine, and then released it as she turned to look at her friend. She swished her tail to get rid of some buzzing flies, and then shook her head. I need to tell him how I feel, but what if he reacts badly? she thought as she began to consider telling him how she felt. Making her final decision, she walked over to Azreal and looked him in the eyes. Azreal, I have been feeling this way ever since I met you, and I need to tell you my feelings. From the moment I met you I have had strong feelings for you, even though I have not known you that long. I don't know if you feel the same way, but I just want you to know that I love you. she said softly, feeling like a great weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

Oh darn it... The thoughts entered his mind at high speed, racing through the very shadows of his mind. He looked back upon Elona, the other mare that fancied him. It was so confusing, since when was he, Azrael, a mare magnet? He stuttered, then simply smiled and nuzzled her. He felt the same deep emotion that he felt for Elona, a feeling much greater than friendship, yet he wasnt sure. He was stuck in a void between two seemingly desperate, yet beautiful, mares.
"I cant say your the first to say such things Sky, yet I myself do not fully understand the emotion 'love'. But still, I do care for you, much more than an ordinary friend cares."
With that he began to lip at her mane playfully, flirting and giving her what she wanted, all the time wondering. Who should he choose...?

Sky sighed happily and let Azrael play with her mane. It seemed like he liked her too, but at the same time she wasn't so sure. She sighed and nuzzled Azrael's neck gently, wondering what he was thinking. She neighed softly, then turned to rest her head on her friend's shoulder. Love is a complicated thing, I find. Does anybody ever really fall in love? she pondered to herself more than Azrael. She didn't fully understand love, and she found herself wondering if it existed, and what it felt like. She knew what lust was, and she knew what friendship was, but she didn't think that she would fully understand love. Is anybody really ever suppsoed to understand love? she asked softly, wondering what he thought on the matter.
