.blackrose I'm through with these pills that make me sit so still.
The wet sand clung to her delicate feathers that floated about her hooves in at least 5 inches of water. She sighed softly, these lands have become so deministed. First the fire that raged over the lands and stole a young steed of the blessing Thebis. The half brother of Omen...or Tequila as you like it. Now these rising waters around her feet made her ache and become irratible in her mind. Like a little bug just digging and clawing at her brain. She shook her great skull sadly, not only was the weather eating at her feelings, the fact that her babies were gone. Unna and Bryony, both of them gone in the snatches of some wicked mare. Black Rose would find them again, she knew in her heart that she would get to hold her babies close to her again. She turned her deep brown eyes out to the churning waters, her auds pinned to her skull, one limply laying. It was torn and raggied. Yep, she was one of the great Outlaws. Let's take a good look at Black Rose as she stays still long enough to study her.
Tall and muscluar, the shire breeding made her stand a whooping hieght of 18hh. She had ripples of muscles all over her chest, back, rump, and her neck. Her veins popped out around her cheekbone and her legs were as thick as branches with lumps of muscles on either side of the bone. Large hooves, that were covered with muck and water, were the size of dinner plates, and had cracks and grooves all over them. They were as deadly as her teeth in her mouth and her muscles on her chest. She was built to kill, to murder. And that is what she did. She was in the great war against the shores, and she had killed. She never learned the name of the mare that she brought down, what a shame. For then she could go about telling everyone. But she wasn't like that now. Now she was calm and gentle and nice. Strange. Let's finish up looking at this beauty though.
She has the prettiest coloring for a shire. She is a goregous red roan, with splashes of color on her hips and withers. A very long mane and tail float back in a fire of black. All four of her legs are black up to her knees, where it fades into the rich colors of her roan. Her mug is a rich brown color that goes up to her forehead, where a tiny drop of white is placed there. She is a picture of beauty, and she knew it. Well she once did at least. Now she hated herself. Her twins were gone. Soul was too busy to tend to her, and she was an outlaw. Feared and hated.
Turning around in the waters, she could hear the squealching noise that her feet made as they lifted from the muck. Water churned underneth her feet as she walked farther from the waters. Stumbling through branches and vines that hid in the black waters, she trudged to a peice of land that looked rather soggy, but at least it was above the waters. Placing her large hooves upon the sand, she waded up. Standing there, she looked out to the sea again. Her eyes were sad, but became sadder as she saw what remained of the Island. Just a shadow under the sea's waters. How cruel she could be! To take away Denzien her leader, and take away a beautiful island... And Black Rose even blamed her for taking away her children. Her precious babies. Hanging her head down, she lipped at the salty sand at her feet. She missed them so much.
The wind reached out to the tall mare, and blew warm, fresh air through her long mane. It reached out and tickled her powerful, thick neck. It danced over her neck and tickled the otherside, the white mark on her neck barely noticeable from her past. It was a scar that ran from her jaw to her withers. It had been placed there sometime during the war at the Sandy Shores and her battle with the femme that nearly brought her down. Luckly her strength and power overroad the small mare, one of the many children of Spirit. She shook her head as she thought of it. How could he be like that? Breeding every mare in his herd? It isn't right. She quivered slightly as she thought of children. She just wanted hers back. Finally with a slight rear that brought her towering over the earth, she let out a ringing neigh that called for anyone. Someone. Her whole body shook, right down to her tail that lay limp. Once it was over, she touched back to the earth, her deep brown eyes scanning this deserted wasteland for someone to come.

†. I'll stand the test of time in your heart and in your mind...
I'm out here everyday breakin' hearts along the way I cause tears to fall and some to lose it all This whole world would be Better off without me Well, I'm the saddest words you've spoken I'm a promise broken
†. The dappled mare's eyes would cold and showed no emotions. Not a single emotion what-so-ever. She always had her true feeling locked away in her heart, and she threw away the key to them some where along the way. She could hide her true feelings with others. She could pretend to care... when she didn't. Her heart didn't lay on her sleeve. She could bust a heart with out anyone knowing. This mare lived up to her name, Promise Broken. The five years she had walked the earth made her cold and filled with an icy hate. Her body was well built, thanks to her Percheron sire. She was also a good height, 15.3hh... shortened by her mother of Quarter Horse blood. The mare herself was quit a beauty. Dark, rich dappled Grey coat. Around her dapples were rings of dark colors. Her tassels and banner were a rich cream color, with streaks of darker cream. Her eyes were icy blue, giving her a rare look. Her mother said she had gotten the blue eyes from her grand-father... but the mare wasn't sure. She was sure of one thing, she cared for no living soul.
I'm the ballgame that you missed I'm the calls that don't come in I'm every poor excuse you use to cover up the truth I tell the people that you love That they dont matter quite enough There's no stoppin' me once I'm in motion I'm a promise broken
†. Her large daggers carried her at a slow walk. Her head was held low, but her icy pools stared coldly to the area before her. Her tassels lay still, and her banner only floated behind her. Her dappled coat was spotted with dried mud. The mare could tell my the ash and water mixture that a great fire had broke out, then a flood washed over the lands. It was like the lands knew she was coming. She stopped for a moment. Water came up to her knees where she was walking... but the mare didn't give a rip. Her large head was held up, with her creamy forelock covering her left iced eye. Her right eyes scanned the lands to find a large, rather colorful mare. She had heard a call a few moments in the past... did this mare call? Was she hurt? The mare rolled her eyes... great, company. Maybe she could just walk by. Or maybe she could find a sister to share her hate... no. The mare wanted nothing to do with anyone anymore. She continued to walk foreword. The mixture of rain, ash, and sea water splashed and rippled as she moved... which should call attention.
Disappointment, disillusion Despair, confusion I've seen it all in their eyes Dont promise you will if you wont Dont say you do if you dont Its alright to say you'll try
†. As the mare got closer she noticed a unique trait of the mare. One ear was half gone... and this stirred up thoughts in the dappled mare. What happened in this land? She pinned her ears flat to her skull... why was she concerned? She shook her head, and began to walk behind the mare. She was a safe distance from the mare's deadly daggers... for the dappled one was not stupid enough to walk behind a strange equine. Promise Broken found herself standing still and looking toward the mare. Her ears were half folded, and the mare hoped she would remain un-noticed. She had stopped only to survey the lands and the mare... trying to detect how big of a threat the mare was. Maybe her observation was taking too long... for she was still. As if she was nothing more then a statue.
Well, I get pushed aside when you move on with your life But I'll stand the test of time in your heart and in your mind You'll think about me now and then Wonder how your life might've been But I will leave you never knowin' Well, I'm a promise broken I'm a promise broken

.blackrose cross my heart and hope to die. She paced for a moment more, and then a scent of a mare passed over her nares. Spinning on her haunches, she faced a rouge mare with her steely cold eyes and her hard, thick muscles rippling through her body. She took a step to the side, the aggressive side of her working its way out. It had been so long since the war and the Outlaws, and she had never really been able to take her anger out on anything. Now it was starting to bother her. She wanted to attack anything that would harm her, or try to. Looking at this mare, it looked like she wanted to hurt her. She snorted warily, the blowing noise channelling through her nares in a shaky breath. Her eyes were narrowed and hard as she gazed at this rouge.
"Who are you?" She asked carefully. She tucked her chin protectively to her chest, her powerful muscles flexing like iron under her hide. If there was one thing that she had ever learned, never underestimate an enemy. Hell, they could turn out to not be an enemy. She had thought Soul was an enemy for a long time, until they were brought close together. Now she loved him with her life. But he wasn't here now to protect her from danger, and she knew how to take care of herself, even if her daughters were gone and she couldn't care for her. Maybe that is why she was so defensive lately, because her kin were gone, and she couldn't do anything to save them from where ever they were. She would see them again.
She waited a moment more, looking the mare coldly square in the eye, her emotionless pits staring hard. Her auds flickered for a moment, the torn one hanging uselessly. She noticed the mare was staring at her aud, just cause it was torn. Had she heard of the Outlaws? Probally not, most hadn't now days. Black Rose shuffled on the soggy ground, her huge platter sized hooves lifting from the sand and leaving their imprints in it. Taking curtisy in for herself, Rose dipped her skull respectfully for the other femmora. Quickly rising it again and tucking it back into her chest, her words came a little more calmly. "Why have you come to my call?" [occ; Bleh. Sorry. No muse lately.]

†. The dappled mare's cold blue eyes searched the large mare's eyes for anything. Promise Broken found nothing of use to her. The large mare's movements caused Promise Broken the back away a few steps. Her body prepared to fight. This mare knew nothing or fight or flight, to her it would always be fight or die. The dappled mare's creamy mane lay limp on her rich dappled neck. She shook her forelock to the side of her face, reveling both of her icy blue's glare. Her creamy tail lay half submerged in water, so it did nothing. The mare was still, so still you could mistake her for a statue. It is true, though, statues don't blink. †. The mare listened to her words, but she didn't say anything. She simply looked into the mare's eyes... trying to find out anything. Pain, sorrow, love, hate... nothing found it's self in the large mare's eyes. Promise Broken jerked her head highly as the mare reared. The dappled one's ears lay flat on her head. She waited for the mare to lunge at her, for Promise Broken never made the first move. To her surprise the mare didn't have the hint of battle. Although her next words made a fire burn deep in Promise Broken's soul. Her icy blues would show that fire as well. Answer her call? Had this mare lost her sense. Promise Broken didn't answer calls... unless they were for her. She rarely even answered those calls. Her ears pricked for a moment, then lay back on her skull. This mare thought Promise broken cared? May pity be put on her.
†. "Promise Broken is what my mother cursed me as. Mare I haven't answered you call. I merely walked into your path."
†. She spoke coldly, but this was just her way. Promise Broken didn't like the fact that she called her mare, but she didn't know her curse. She didn't like to say mare, for she knew that was what heartless stags called out. Rarely would she call a stag by their name, for she had no respect for the beasts. True, she didn't respect anyone but mare's who could stand up for them self, but a stag could gain her respect if he deserved it. †. The dappled mare stood still. Her cold eyes still on the mare. She had learned never to turn your back on a stranger. Her mane still lay limp on her neck, now a little tangled from her jerk. Her banner had gotten a little wet, so now it was heavy. Her legs couldn't be seen from the knee down. The top of her legs were wet, giving them a darker look. She was a beautiful mare, but Promise Broken had hidden this fact as a lie. In her mind the only true fact about her was her name... and she lived up to it.

Captian Jack Sparrow
There's another world inside of me that you may never see.
Dark pelted stallion watched the water. The water was reckless and the stallion followed suit. Looking for something he had yet to find. He shook his tangled black mane. His reasons for coming here had suddenly slipped the stallion the one who was untrickable, unbeatable and never to be tamed by man was lost. The internal map was blank.. 'Time to go off the map.' his brain hissed at him, why he had not thought of that before he did not know. It was all in the riddle of his mind. Though he might be the body, the brain was something entirly diffrent. At times it decided to agree with him and at other times it fled him. He was a sensible stallion but some of his actions, to the public eye, made little to no sense. First he had robbed the mare of her dignity, gaining himself a foal- and some what of a little reputation here. Apparently rape was not commen in the lands. If only they all knew how lucky they were to live in such a shelted life. The thought of being one of the softies made Jack snort.
Keen brown eyes focused on the thinning stretch of shore line before him. He shook his head somewhat somlemly and looked out at the water, slowly moving towards it now standing knee deep. "You're a mad Git." tones were not directed at anyone but rather at a certain something, yes Jack's rather frightening habit of talking to the sea as though he had bethrothed her. There was a roar as a swell grew larger and eventually white capped before plunging the stallion into a wave of hot anger. Jack glared with a bitter distaste for the sea before sulkily moving out of the water. It was not like it was alive any way. The proud 'captian' ambled on slowly, finding himself some dried seaweed, amazingly some that was not black, he chewed on the salty snack slowly. It had been some time since he had tasted the crunchy paper thin treat. Black banner whiped at his sides. The stallion could not help but sneak a look at his reflection from where he was standing, he was infact one handsom devil but prided himself not in his looks but his strength.
His body was painted a dark bay, casually thrown on were his smudges of white on his rump. Giving him a look unmatchable a look he had not seen anywhere in all of the places he had travled or wandered. And Jack had seen many places so he was more then likely to know if his color was commen or not. Jack heard the distant murmer of two speaking, with in a few minutes of slow running he was starring at the two. The words of the stallion were funny, same for the mare. Jack offered a crude eye and spoke with a bite of sarcasim. "And I do believe you strutted, Mate." words ended in a hiss of the word mate, to show that he was not all hostility. Seeing as they were both females he assumed this would be rather intresting and wanted to see what this would turn out to be. He excpected it as more of a 'cat fight' thing.

†. The dappled mare's cold icy blues didn't leave the mare. She was getting tired of waiting for an answer. She flipped her creamy forelock to the other side of her face. She lifted her soaked banner to slap her sides, then returned it to the waters. Her mind began to wounder, but her icy stare didn't leave the mare. She knew with her luck as soon as she looked away, the mare might lunge. This was just her way of thinking. Lyrics from another rang through her ears. Like a bullet coming from the barrel of a rifle. Her icy stare left the mare and landed on the stallion. Her ears lay flat on her skull, what did he mean by his words. She didn't trust stallions, not at all. In her mind they all wanted one thing, and Promise Broken was not the one to tend to a foal. She rather just leave it, or so she thought. If she ever had a foal, nature would draw her close to it. At the time this mare did not want a foal to tend too... she saw nothing but trouble. Her icy blues glanced from equine to equine. Trying to keep an eye on both of them. Who was the greater threat? The one she must watch closer. She felt a cold chill run down her spine. There were two of them, and one of her. What if they were a team? She shook it away, knowing it was very unlikely. Her dappled body was still, but her eyes were searching the land. Were there more? She shook her head, letting her creamy forelock tangle over it's self. She took a few steps forward. That waves were getting on her nerves. They began to get larger and hit her body harder. She knew the tide was coming in. She walked up the shore a little ways. Still near the two equines. She kept a close eye on them, knowing what could happen if she turned her back. She felt more uneasy with the stallion around, for he could curse her. "What do you mean, Stag...", Her words came in a cold tone. Colder than the words she spoke to the mare. Why had he come? Her mind racing with thoughts. What to do. What they might do. Another cold chill ran down her spine. The dappled mare wasn't scared, just uneasy. She began to paw at the sands. Some of the wet earth stuck to her front legs... but the mare could care less. She stood still, her creamy mane slightly dancing with the breeze. Her banner did nothing, since it was soaking wet. Her forelock was all over her face, but the icy glare was still visible.
