++ when i catch my breath - it's you i breathe (you're everything i know that makes me believe)
Fear had never been such a close emotion until this day, as Seydi fought for his own life on the dangerously high cliff edge, swirling waters waiting below to taste his sweet bodice. Even if his dappled coat had missed the rocks, the ocean would surely swallow him (with some glee) and take him to join the collection of lost souls six feet underwater.
His ears were still pushed back upon his head as he struggled, but he heard a cry and then some rushed words (Storm's voice, it was closer now), and a grab to his mane. Pain - physical, this time - coursed through his neck as the power of the two tugged on his thick tassels in a vain attempt to pull him to safety. Again he pounded his claws (or hooves, same thing) against the rocky cliff and gained unmeasurable relief when finally, his back legs found a support in the form of a rock jutting from the cliffside. Heaving upwards now, his strength showing and defining his breed from fast mustang to strong tersk as his muscles forced themselves into saftey. The grip was released from his mane and he heard a cry of pain, and he worridly pushed his whole body back onto the land.
Laying still for a minute, he breathed heavily, staring at Rain with sorrow, his mind lost in confusion and hurt. He blinked his green ees shut and turned away, unable to choose wether he should simply forgive her, or lie forever in the angst that came from knowing she had nearly cost him his life. As he opened his eyes again, he knew he could never with the shame that came from shunning another, and though he could not smile, his eyes communicated forgiveness.
Lost once more, he heaved his tired body upwards, straining his muscles once again in order to reach his lovers' side. Part of the urgency that had caused Seydi to scramble to his safety was not only to save his life, but to save Storm from whatever pain had made him cry out so. His heart was lost - to another stallion, nonetheless - and it was with such sweet devotion that he stood over the mangled creature and touched noses with him affectionately. Though still unsure where he stood, Seydi was pleased with the fact that he had not yet been turned away, and counted it as a good sign. If anything could have been good in this strange series of events.
A series of events that, he knew then, he must fix. Looking over to Rain, he spoke gently and softly in explanation of his ways. "Rain, I'm gay - though there's not much point in saying it now." The words were like daggers to both himself and those around; the poor stallion had always been ashamed of his sexuality, never having met another like himself, and having always been taught that stallions must love mares, and mares must love stallions. He looked out to the cliff, unable to feel any warmth for the depths past it as he usually would have, dropping his tones to the airwaves that crashed to the seas rather than directly to Rain. "I'm sorry, Rain - you never gave me reason to tell you. I could never have imagined that you-" There was a sharp break in his speech as he wondered how to continue. "- That you might have felt this way."
Another pause - Seydi, that smooth talker, was somewhat at a loss for words. He might have then gone on to speak of his feelings for Storm, but he knew those particular words should be spared for a time when he and his lover were alone, and ready to talk about their 'difficult' relationship. Feelings were twisted things and Seydi knew that, soon, he would have to converse with Storm and have it told straight - did Storm feel the same way or not?
But until then, what to say? He looked back to Rain, almost apologetically - though most would be selfish there and wonder why they had need to apologise (after all, it wasn't like he knocked her off a cliff, he'd saved her life yet again) - and then took a step back, dropping his head to look away from the two as if ashamed. Somehow, he felt he'd done something wrong; and though he couldn't place it, it plauged him all the same, as he stood beneath the eyes of the two most important creatures in his life.
have i lost my mind ooc ::aww -tear- it's so cute <3[/sup]

.Storm. Stuck in reality
Storms gaze heighted quickly as he caught sight of Seydis ebon pillars. He stumbled upwards exitedly and nuzzled his beloved crest, his eyes blinking rapidly, hoping that it wasnt merly a dream. Of corse, it wasnt, and Storm nickered happily, wrapping his serpentine around the one he only ever truley loved. Some would see Storms nips and nuzzles as just overly affectionate, yet they were much more than family greetings. He gaze several low rears, momentraily forgetting the pain. But when he did, he stumbled back and was forced to take it steady, leaning back upon the blooded rock besides him. He smiled as he explained to Rain, rather sadly, that he was gay, Storm snorted shook his head. Seydi looked ashamed of himself, yet it wasnt his fault. If Spirit was still around he probably would have accepted his son for who he was, but it was obvious Seydi didnt get that. But if his father had gone against his sons heart, Storm would have fought back. he wouldnt try to hide it, or pretend he was something he wasnt. But it was easy to think such things, alot harder to atcualy do them and tell the world that he was gay. If he strode up to any of his mares or stags and said it he knew they would laugh in his face and, most likely, the stags would try to take over for being more masculine or some other dumb reason. It took alot of bravery for Seydi to announce it before the mare that loved him, and Storm, finaly admitting it to himself, loved him for that. He arched his crest and parted his maw to speak, but was somewhat interupted by the mare.
.Rain. Just open your eyes and see
She looked up, trembling, not wanting to see that he friend, her love, had died due to her stupidity. Her head jerked up as he spoke her name, her features bright for a split second, just before his second word. He was gay. She had known, of corse, but to say it outright prooved be belifs and made her crumble inside. Pillars lifted her barel wearily, shaking slightly, her head low, looking up at Seydi with depressed orbs. The one stallion she had loved beyong all those others was gay. It just prooved that Rain was unlucky in love. Would she ever be loved by another for who she was? 'I could never have imagined that you might have felt this way...' She choked on his words, eyes closing as though a million tears would fall if she allowed herself view him once more. His handsom pelt, his deep green orbs, his usual happy features, all to unbearable for her to lay her own pools upon. Though, of corse, he wouldnt be smiling anymore. Not after what she had done. She shook her head, there was no reason for him to feel bad about it, it was his life, afterall, none else could control him.
"Dont be sorry...Its all my fault. Im a jinx..."
He snorted and turned her head away, gaze viewing the ebon stag, his gay lover, apparently. She gave him a slightly confused look, and resived a faint, and slightly saddened, smile. But she didnt need Storms pitty. She began to walk of, tail clamped firmly upon her rump.

++ was it wrong - to go along with (i n s a n i t y)
Oh, it was like a reuinted pair of dreamers - the golden heart that Seydi held so beneath his dappled beast soared free in that moment, relishing every touch as caressing them mentally, as if scared that if he lost the thought of them, they would no longer be real. Seydi smiled warmly as Storm showed his silent happiness, and moved to steady him at the points at which he was likely to fall - doing as he always did, and looking out for those around him (not simply because he was in love with this particular creature). His keen gaze followed the ebony body as it moved to lean on the now blood draped rock, at which he had before stood to allow Seydi to rescue Rain once more.
In the knowledge that his dreamer was perfectly sturdy against the ever useful (and possibly 'appeared form nowhere') rock, Seydi switched his bright eyes back to the mare who was his dearest friend, and her low spirit immediately dampened that brightness into a more sullen and bemused sort of green - certainly not like Seydi. The poor stallion felt sorrow for the mare, his mind like a sponge, seeping up all her emotion and feeling it as if it were his own; locking into her mind and seeing the situation from her view. Concern dropped through his vision as she turned and began to move away, and he opened his jaws to speak before realising softly that there was nothing more he could say.
Though, he couldn't say he hadn't tried. For a few seconds he stood there, his mind skipping like a child across stepping stones, (the pond below threatening wet socks and a cold for the next four weeks) but try as he might, no more words came to him. It was strange that Seydi - quite the chattorbox and the general idiot - should have no words: if it wasn't already strange enough that he - the ultimate youngster - was caught up in such a mature situation. Looked like time has decided to work in reverse for a while.
It was at that moment that he realised he'd been standing for some time with his mouth open, staring gormlessly ahead without even the faintest look of recognition. He closed his mouth and snorted, smiling to himself (allowing as much of that smile to show as he dared) before looking back at Storm. His subconcious wanted to ask abut this unfaithful mare of his and what was to be done about it, but he trusted in their understanding of one another and assumed that Storm would simply stop and explain.
i guess it wasn't really right

.Storm. I want to hold you (In my arms)
He snorted, watching, with glazed orbs, as the painted mare padded sullenly apart from the stallions. He sighed, lonliness, he would hate to feel such a cruel emotion, to be alone in the world, with noone by your side. It was probably the reason for his haste in getting a female mate and an heir, to start a family so that he'd never be alone. But love is another matter. To be with the one he loved, Storm belived he would do almost anything, even leave his fathers lands. Not that he had a choice; his lands were drowned under waters. Lost, like Rain, to nature and its cruel intentions.
Deep limpid pools of liquid brown gazed openly towards the silver stag, his mane still damp from salt water and sweat. He was waiting for Seydi to speak, yet, though his maw parted, no words came forth for quite a while. He gave up waiting, it was clear that the gay horse didnt quite to say to the king. Storm had no idea either and so filled in the awkward silence with a brief, yet meaningful, nuzzle. His velvetine maw rubbed gently against the other, both as dark black as one-anothers, until he drew back. It was only after then that he read the emeradle green orbs of his friend and nodded, understanding what his lover wanted to hear.
Dream, what should he tell of that beautiful dappled mare? His mate who had, until now, been so faithful and loyal towards him, baring his child and bringing Storm happiness. She was a wonderful queen, a great lead, she had autority and used it well, yet she had bred with another, and that was far worse than anything she could have done. He knew for a fact that his mother had done the same thing and his own father punished her and made another lead, yet she was still his mate. But Storm was confused. What if he didnt want Dream to be his mate. What if he wanted another? He looked up longinly at Seydi, sighed, and parted his maw to speak, though his voice quivered slightly, nervous about his sexuality and the fact that he was so close to having a gay relationship.
"Dream, I thought I loved her Seydi, but mares will breed with anyone. After our foal died-"
For Storm thought Sienna was dead after a year of waiting for her return upon the shores.
"-Shes been quiet. Shes a great lead and helps alot, but I just cant trust her anymore. I think, if its possible, that ive fallen out of love and into love with another...Yet, shes still Dream, my mate. And I do love her, just not nearly as much as before. Im just so confused."
He hung his head, his maw nearly touching the ground, his forelock, overgrown, was hanging over his eyes. He sighed, banner flicking at the buzzards that tryed to gain entry at his rump. The bloodsuckers wern't nearly as bad as mares, stupid creatures, running around letting any other fucker breed with them. Whores, they were all dirty whores. Hes took a step closer to Seydi and raised his crest, simply staring into his beloved eyes, deeply, fondly, wishing that there was a way they could be together without being scorned for who they truly were. He glanced over at Rain, standing besides the fallen tree, her crest low and eyes seemingly weeping. He wished she could be happy to. If she could have anything it would most likely be a foal like all other mares, yet it was what she wanted. He just wished he could give it to her. that would only be if he was unfaithful to Dream as she was to him, and if his leg allowed him to rear. He shook his crest sadly. All three seemed to be doomed to sadness. Perhaps they should have started a club...
