Hey fellas, have you heard the news? You know that Epic's back in town? It won't take long just watch and see How the fellas lay their money down. Lean shanks danced hypnotically beneath the sleek bodice of the pale maiden, auburn voids twinkling with an innocent air. Ashen lips were tugged into a smile, and colorless locks danced merrily in the sea breeze. Such a beautiful picture she made with her long, silky banner raised high over her rump as she cantered elegantly about the new lands. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary; just a sweet, calm, gentle mare observing her surroundings. But that was at a distant glance, up close, it was plain to see that the smile did not extend to her cunning viods, and though they may seem to twinkle with innocence and purity, the only thing that lit her auburn depths was mischeif and mayhem. At five years old, Epic wasn't the youngest of mares, and she was certainly the oldest to step foot upon the Ocean Cliff, yet that did not preturb her. Though not as youthful as the other maidens, Epic had filled out, and she was just as flashy as the next vixen. Talons sinking deep within the sodden terrain, the witch had a vague idea that the lands were used for claiming, but that wasn't the reason she was here. No, no, though she rather enjoyed the company of a stallion, she'd rather have the ocean view any day, having been concieved at an ocean cliff five long years ago. Shanks halting their smooth pace, the alabaster maiden let her gaze sweep the expanse of the ocean, talons on the very edge of the rocky cliff. Smirking slightly, the vixen threw back her carved crown to let the salty breeze run through her silky locks, a soft sigh of relaxation rippling through her body. Now this is what she had came for. A little sand, a little surf, and a whole lotta fun.
But that wasn't the entire reason she had journeyed to Night Sky, no, that would be just stupid to travel to a far off land just for the ocean view. Her real intentions here was just to escape her previous homelands of Ajandara. Thinking of the beautiful lands, Epic let a sigh of momentary despair slip from her lips; she could never go back. True, the reason she had been banished was her own fault, but every time she thought of the lush valleys, white, sandy beaches, and azure waves, a small dagger was pushed deeper within her stone heart. Ever since she had been born, Epic had always been the heartbreaker. From little lovestruck colts to serious stallions, she had hurt them all. Though some claimed that she loved them, they were merely blinded; Epic loved no one but herself, she had simply used them. Of course, it was probably considered a sin to manipulate others, but in her opinion, she just hadn't found the right one. And why let such a good stallion go to waste? She could always use new information or a bit of spontaneous fun. All those goddy-goody mares who fell in love with the first stud they see always ended up tied down for the rest of eternity, and then their looks go to waste when it comes to child bearing. Epic had seen her mother, all swayed back and worn; and what was fun about eternal committment? Snorting roughly through flared nasals, Epic knew she would probably never find the right one; she was too much of a free sou, too much of a wild angel. But it never hurt to convince herself that what she was doing wasn't wrong.
Lobes pricking, voices of courting stallions soon caressed her eardrums, and for once, Epic let a real smile grace her features. Stepping away from the cliff, she ventured a bit further inland, bodice becoming a mere silhouette as she entered the shadows. Lurking through the abyss, hazel orbs soon spotted mares milling about, and was slightly surprised that so few were here. The claiming lands were usually clogged with vixens, but perhaps the mares here had a bit more dignity than those at her homelands. Snorting softly to herself, Epic sauntered from the shadows, lean pillars thrown out in a casual, yet elegant gait. Lobes swiveling as she caught the conversations of others, optics looked over the few stallions that roamed the lands, much like a woman would do when shopping for groceries. Sighing, a flick of her tassels plainly said that she was not impressed, and with toss of her crown, Epic headed back to the ocean cliff. Orbs staring off into space, she thought, Ah well. So today's selection wasn't desirable; there's always tommorrow. Just wait and see how the studs line up... And with a small chuckle, the witch settled herself down for the night. There was always a line of willing studs; all of them wanted only one thing, and the sad part was, she almost always gave it to them. But maybe, just maybe, she would meet her match. Yeah....right..... Her style is new but the face is the same As it was so long ago, But from her eyes, a diffrent smile Like that of one who knows.

Every time the stallion found himself here, he’d always be disappointed. But something made him return every so often, just to prove to himself there was no one here, which made him feel better for having such an empty herd. It wasn’t his fault. He hated socialising, after his mother, and his brother died, there was nothing worth living for. Then he’d promise himself he’d fall in love, for the tenth time, and then he’d be worth something. But not even that had happened yet.
So he’d pretty much given up this time; but he would go out with a bang, sooner or later. He couldn’t leave his land vulnerable yet, it meant so much to him. His entire history occurred there. That reminds him; he’d have to visit the Shores in the near future, he had to become properly familiar with his mother’s last sighting and his fathers of course.
The chocolate gaze he’d inherited from his mother swept over the earth emotionless, nothing catching his attention. Sure, there were plenty of pretty females parading past him, disappointed that they hadn’t caught his eye. Nobody did these days.
Akkan tossed his dial in the air, emitting a frustrated whine as ebon tresses left his eye sight. The tall stallion took another step forward, before creating a steady pace across the earth, powerful talons ripping up the turf beneath him. It felt different to the Vast Desert, it was like swimming in sand, and then the solid terrain made his hoovens ache.
Lobes swerved to different chirps in his surroundings, but he managed to ignore them all, as his mind dawdled on too many things to worry about it. The crashes of the risen tide sounded as it left the cliff, but returned with an even louder sound. Because of the dying flood, the water’s had risen, and this place hadn’t been affected. But his mother’s home was, it was going to be completely destroyed and he didn’t know if she was going down with it.
The giant steed neared the edge of the cliff, before a stunning mare came from the corner of his eye, but as soon as he dawned with realisation, his intentions were completely dropped, and that tightness of excitement in his stomach was replaced with disappointment. As if she’d even seen him, as if he’d be able to feel anything for her – let alone friendship.
He removed his brief glance from the pale mare, who he’d let someone else have, instead, he reached the edge of the cliff and just watch in contempt. How his entire life was swept away with this water, it was it’s fault the disease had arrived and took his mother and his father, and it came too late to save his brother from his burning death, and now it came to take away his mother, and destroyed half of his precious land. The land he’d owned for years. The land he’d let down.
Turning away from the vicious waters, he glanced towards the air wafting above him, the air that had started to warm. Damn spring. He had to return back to the desert before he did something stupid; he was positive this would be another Spring that would go without a foal arriving in the Desert, he was always told Lead Stallion’s were desired; That was a load of bullshit.
He couldn’t remove his entire attention off the female, who felt like she was fairly dominant, a little too much of authority for the vulnerable Akkan, but she composed herself differently then the other mare’s, as he could tell from just being briefly around her. She clenched dentals together, snorting gently to catch some kind of attention from her as he neared pistons twitching, ready to flee if he was unwanted. He hesitated, and stuttered, but he managed to speak up from behind her.
"H- hello?"
ooc; i'm sorry how tacky it is =\ it's rushed.

Well, its been ten years and maybe more Since I first set eyes on you; The best years of my life gone by, Here I am alone and blue. A soft sigh twitched the otherwise silent lips of the porcelain maiden, lithe frame leaning casually against one of the many large rocks that lay scattered about the cliff's edge. Mug reaching towards the skies, shades were pulled tight over her auburn depths, letting the bright sun soak into her skin. Crown dropping back to it's normal height, Epic lounged lazily about the cliff's edge, the warm, smooth surface of the weathered rock warm and soothing to her travel-worn muscles. Stretching, the vixen muttered to herself, much like she used to in her days of exile. "These old bones have gone quite a ways; it's good to finally find some peace." Though she knew she wasn't near as old as some of the other horses she had met, others had a tendency of setting age limits a bit different for mares; three was young, four was just right, five and over was just too old. Smirking, Epic knew that she believed in that just about as much as she believed she could fly. Sure, her years before five had been grand, but it seemed as if age really didn't affect her; she was just the same as she had once been, if not a little smarter. Voids cast out over the iron waves, she noted the high water levels, no doubt from the torrental and constant rain. Gazing at the horizon, a small frown flitted across her features as she glared at the massing black clouds; yet another storm was to hit. Did this land ever get a break? Rumors lit upon the winds had told her of the ailings of Night Sky: sickness, fires, kidnappings, and now floods. Blowing out a sardonic breath, she knew that Night Sky must be a grim place to live right about now, but as she reflected on her past homes, this one suddenly didn't seem so bad. Poverty, lies, sex, and scandals had always loomed over the lands she had caused home, and she was almost sorry to say that she had been the one to cast such a dark shadow on the places she had been. But hey, what was life without a little adversity? Truth be told, the lands she had left in smoldering ruins usually benefitted from her charades, the herds banding together against her, forming unity and strength. And when they had finally rid themselves of this menace dressed in white, they were a stronger family than before. But did anyone stop and take notice of this? No. Ah well, it really didn't bother her. She was just out for a little fun....nothing could contain her....
Invigorated by this sudden burst of self-confidence, her flame was soon doused as she lingered sadly on the memories of Ajandara. Slumping against the sun bathed stone, her thick forelock soon invaded her vision, lying rather limply across her cheek. Though she had never been partial to any lands, she had had to make an exception for Ajandara. Lush and green, the lands were what dreams were made of, with abundant life and plenty adventure, it had truly been Epic's favorite place. But she was an outcast, painfully exiled from the perfect lands as she had been in every other place. Why, you may ask? Simple. In her thirst for wild fun, she had somehow seduced the King of Ajandara, who at the time, had no Queen. She seemed destined to rule beside him, that is, until she ran around and had an affair with his equally powerful and wild brother. Neither stud knew that Epic had fooled them both, until they both caught her in the act of seducing the King of Ajandara's son. Stunned to find out that she had committed such a scandal, the two banished her, and with a heavy heart, she was tossed from Ajandara's borders. Though, as she reflected upon it all, she hadn't really committed to either brother, they just assumed that she had. Always get it in writing, she had said, and neither stallion had done just that. Besides, she was the one who had drawn the brothers together; they had been fueding for ages, and had been in stony silence for years. Now that they were back together, the lands of Ajandara were prosperous once more. See? No harm done. In fact, if it wasn't for her, the two brothers would have remained adament, and Ajandara would never be the same. Perhaps she was an angel in disguise, and perhaps not. Only one thing was certain: she was a heartbreaker, and it wasn't likely that she would change. Blowing at in a frustrated manner, her forelock was soon back in place, a rough push given as she propelled herself from the rock. Finding her footing, Epic paced, unable to find anything to do with herself. Tassels flicking at her heels, she sighed and looked out at the empty valley below; no excitement there. Glancing back at the claiming lands, she saw no shadows moving about; no doubt today's selection of vixens had already been taken home. Snorting, she looked out at the sea, it's iron waves reflected within her steely depths. If there was one thing she hated more than love, it was boredom.
Epic hadn't a clue on how long she had been staring out at the ocean, but one thing was for certain: it was too long. Her optics glazed with the usual symptoms of boredom, she took no notice of the snapping of twigs behind her, her mind already submersed in a faint buzz that boredom brought on. If she hadn't been consumed in a stupor, she would have taken note of that she was being watched by someone other than the fading sky above, but alas, she did not see the ebon' bulk that loomed not so far away. A shadow cast over her body, Epic soon realized that it was not her own, and with blink of an eye, she was alert once more. Harks quivering, crown was high upon her boa as she turned about, the stuttering lyrics of another washing over her as she set eyes on the intruder. Scanning over the larger bulk of the equine before her, a sudden click in her mind brought on a smile: it was a stallion, the very thing that had caused her many downfalls. Features relaxing, Epic registered every inch of the raven brute, reading his body language so as to form an idea of his personality. Fidgety, she noticed, as if he was poised to flee if he was not wanted in her presence. A bit unsure of himself, slightly vulnerable, but beneath the mask, Epic could tell that he wasn't one to mess with; there was a trigger that lie deep beneath the doubt, and she knew if she pulled it, the stud could turn deadly. Plume snapping smartly at her heels, the ivorn maiden smiled graciously; no need to scare the stallion off before she could find out more about him. Chasms opening, lyrics of a smooth and divine form spilled out, strong and unwavering. "Why hello. No need to be so restless, I don't bite...hard." Ever the spinner of tales, Epic never was at a loss for words, and with a soft chuckle, she calmly continued. "Come now, don't stand at the shadow's edge where I can barely distinguish you, venture closer stallion, for I promise, I will not lash out unexpectedly. So that we may not remain strangers, I am Epic of Ajandara, and you must have another calling other than stallion of the abyss, am I right?" Knowing that such sudden conversation could overwhelm the brute, she cast a smile in his direction, her brow slightly cocked in question. Voids glinting with unavoidable mischief, harks remained pricked as she awaited the stallion's next tones. Already, her restless mind was at work, plotting her next venture, possibly starting with getting to know the stallion before her. Oh how the clever never changed. Some people cry and some people die By the wicked ways of love; But I'll just keep on rollin along With the grace of the lord above.
