Wrath slowed, throwing back his head and rearing. The mist cleared for a minute and he could see the new land he stood upon. It was dead and empty, brittle grass shushed quietly in the wind. He returned to his four hooves and he started forward again, walking slowly through. He could see the sky, barely piercing through the thick clouds, but they were there nonetheless. This is almost like the old herd, minus all those backstabbing sons of mules. He shook his head sending his thick black mane over his neck. He took another step and scanned the mist with dark eyes. He could not smell another stallion so this land was now his. He reared again, screaming his name to the winds. The mist swirled and roiled, covering him like a cape.
