(couldn't find your stickied form... I may be being moronic.)
Name: Bradhadair
Age: 9
Gender: Mare
Personality: Bradhadair is, in essence, selfish. There is nothing she has ever done, or ever will do, that hasn't been to benefit herself in some way or another. She can be charming, flirtatious, attentive and almost sweet, but only when she wants something...
Bradhadair also has a wicked temper, and is known to hold grudges. Whilst she plainly disregards most people (unless she wants something from them), her emnity is easily gained and lasting... and she is known to act spitefully.
But her biggest weakness is her vanity. Bradhadair is extremely proud of her Arabian beauty, and the easiest way to curry her favour is via complements... and conversely, the easiest way to stoke her rage is by insulting her appearance. Her beautiful chestnut pelt is her pride and joy, and any threat to mar it is taken extremely seriously.
She has never cared enough about anyone else to call it love. Even her two children, Branach and Iniontine, have never had any real care from her. And her last stallion was far too weak to control Bradhadair properly, so for him she felt nothing but spite.
Bradhadair cares nothing for rankings and herd dynamics, as long as she has what she wants. Power doesn't really interest her - she is as happy on her own as in company.
History: Bradhadair's mother was a foolish mare, and encouraged her uncommonly pretty daughter to grow up very proud and vain. Watching her mother, Bradhadair learned that the easiest way to get what she wanted was to use her beauty, and her not inconsiderable charm and charisma, to her advantage. Under her mother's tutelage, she grew to be manipulative, and vengeful.
Bradhadair was only ever a little mare, standing at 14.3hh even with her proud carriage. Her small size, and dainty build added to the deceptiveness of her appearance - how could one so small, fragile and beautiful cause so much damage around her?
However, the other mares of the herd had watched Bradhadair's transformation into the nasty piece of work she had become, and eventually banded together and threw her from the herd. Alone, Bradhadair realised that manipulation of other should perhaps be left to when it was needed most - and her dislike of everyone around her began.
She was claimed by a young, handsome, heavily built but unintelligent stallion, who used force to keep her under control. Bradhadair soon learned not to cross the brute, for fear he'd mark her pretty hide, but had no respect for him whatsoever. However, the stallion was proud of the little beauty that was the prize of his herd, and forcibly sired her son, Branach. The little black colt was his father's son in appearance, but had his mother's quick intelligence. However, his mother was sickened by the sight of him, and let her hatred for her son be plain. Luckily for the poor colt, another mare from the herd took him under her wing, and Branach, whilst as clever as his mother, grew to be even-tempered and kind-hearted, which frustrated Bradhadair even further.
Despite her dislike for her son, it was he who rescued her form the herd she hated. When his father chased him from the herd, as customary for a three-year-old, his pregnant mother snuck away with him. The pair became a tiny herd when Iniontine, a tiny replica of her mother in carbon-black, was born, and despite Bradhadair preferring her by far to her brother, it was Branach who raised the filly with his kind ways.
Now, a year later, the tiny herd have wandered into a new land. With Branach old enough to go and find a herd of his own, Bradhadair and her yearling filly are looking for a new home - one that can handle the unruly and malignant Bradhadair...
