PERSONALITYTacita gains her name from her very quiet existence, seeing no use whatsoever in talking if she doesn’t have anything deeply important to say. She doesn’t mind listening to people, or at least pretending to, but she won’t give a lot of input to the conversation- especially if she doesn’t really know the person. She is a little chattier with those she knows but not by much. Many take it as her just being condescending and she can be a little distant and cautious at first but she will soon warm up once she gets to know someone. It doesn’t take long for her to trust someone unless they give her obvious reason not to.
Kita for the most part is a mature, level-headed mare but she is by no means opposed to having fun. Sometimes she just lets go however and gives in to what she was born to do- ru, very very fast. She can get a lot of pent up energy if she doesn’t run around with the occasional buck, making her become anxious and irritable until she finds some way to get rid of it. Kita is otherwise very patient and rarely loses her temper though when she does it she really loses it, and since she’s quite a big more it can make her a very formidable opponent. It rarely happens but she chooses violence over words. A kick or a nip is more easily remembered than a scold in her opinion. It also means that you get next to no warning that she is going to attack until it’s too late.
Despite being very quiet she is a herd animal and does enjoy being around other horses. She’s honest with her opinions of others when asked- even if it can be brutal. Just because she doesn’t speak doesn’t mean that she’s simple- in fact she’s highly intelligent and it can be seen in her eyes. As she is so quiet she also hears a lot and tends to find out quite a lot about people. Whether it’s because other horses confide in her or she just listens in on conversations is really up for debate.
Despite her like of being social, she has a great dislike of being bossed around. It’s something that often makes her lose her temper. Kita has no qualms whatsoever giving someone a nip if they try to force her to do something. She would probably do anything if she was asked nicely.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Kita's a Hano x Thoroughbred and so possesses the lean build of a thoroughbred but possesses a slightly thicker build than a thoroughbred. She's 16.3hh and solid black in colour. She has a white snip at the bottom of her nose and a scar on her left thigh though it's small and not immediately noticeable.
HISTORYKita was born into a herd like most horses and her background up to there is pretty normal. Her mother was kind to her though perplexed as to why her child was always so quiet. She was kicked out when she was two and joined another herd. She was in the herd for a few years before she was left after getting into a fight with the lead mare over something trivial which is where she got her scar from. Her daughter remained there and she hasn’t seen her since. Now she just wanders in and out of herds without any want to stay in them. There isn’t an awful lot to Kita’s history that is particularly interesting- yet.
