It is very similar to NSE's original, except reversed a bit! =O
The Creekfall territories also would have to be beyond the forest/ fields because they were recently discovered on the outskirts. That said, your map makes more sense to me! The geography works much better. XDD (Especially with Creekfall being included in the foothills!)

I tried to make it so that the geography itself would make sense. For instance: generally, a forest doesn't reach the beach because the ocean winds wont allow trees to grow well...and this is how it turned out when I read all the board things. It just...made the most sense I guess. =D I'm completely and utterly wrong from what the maps you showed said, though. Anyway. I'll go take it down now.
