PERSONALITY
Having been raised by a human instead of his own kind, Sumire tends to react to things very human like.

If another stallion wishes to fight him, Sumire would just stare before removing himself as a threat in anyway, which he tends to be confused on how he’s being a threat to another stallion and their herd.
He doesn’t mind foals, though never having any of his own, Sumire is quite content when foals are around him which makes him an excellent babysitter for tired mares who don’t want to watch their young every single second.

Though most horses would be afraid of wolves and bolt if to close, Sumire stands his ground without being frightened or intimidated by the usually snarling beasts. If they attack him, Sumire shows them exactly why they shouldn’t mess with him as he can easily kill one.

He’s not very favorable to new comers getting into his space, especially when he’s grazing. Though Sumire wouldn’t attack another horse for no good reason or any reason at all, he will snap his teeth together in warning for them to back off until he’s ready to talk to them.

Stands at 18.3 hh. Coat is black, sometimes a sheen of purple is visible in light. Dark purple eyes.

HISTORY
Sumire doesn't remember much about his first few nights, for he believes he had been abandoned shortly after he was born. Laying helpless within a forest, Sumire was already thinking of death for he couldn't even walk much less get up. Many nights passed as he laid there wondering how much longer it would take for wolves to find him, until one cloudy day he was found. A young human had found him and taken him, not knowing if humans were bad creatures or not, Sumire trusted the young male which paid off. The human cared for him, taught him everything he would need to know as a horse and in return Sumire pledged loyalty to his caretaker.

Seasons passed and he grew into a graceful, powerful, and loyal stallion. Having lived and raised by his human, Sumire was quite struck with devastation when the quake and flooding happened, killing off all humans. Many nights past after and Sumire couldn’t bring himself to leave his fallen human for he was and will always be faithful, but soon he knew he wasn’t coming back and after making sure no scavengers would find the body, Sumire left. Traveling farther then ever before, he found himself in Night Sky.

OTHER
Sumire means purple in Japanese. Having lived with humans, Sumire didn’t interact much with other creatures, but he had interacted with deer who showed him that he could eat roots and bark for a time if no other source of food was available.

His form belives that he one of his parents were a Clydesdale. Even though he is 13 years old, Sumire doesn’t understand if a mare vyes for his attention.

Having been attacked by a pack of wolves once, Sumire’s intimidation with just his large form didn’t work he easily stomped most of them to their deaths.

Now that Sumire is living without any humans, he is trying to learn the ways he should have known his whole life. Being seen as a loner has caused him to be alone, so Sumire has seperation issues, whether it be from herd members or a companion.
