Help Staff Applications

Good evening friends!
As you may have sometimes noticed, the staff is often swamped by things not related to NSE at times. It is blasphemous, but true. After some brief discussion, it’s been decided that we need help, and so we’re putting out helpstaff applications. Anyone interested may feel free to apply. We’ll be selecting staff based on experience and time and the usual, although experience isn’t actually necessary to apply.

So first, what are the duties of NSE’s helpstaff?

-general moderating/ poking about the rules
-judging fights when requested
-advertising on occasion
-updating the directories
-updating weather if desired
-abusing the Random Events! account
-plotting plots of doom, since occasionally site wide plots occur
-responding to open topics

Right, so the last responsibility is the one that only actually includes myself and whoever will be selected for staff, since Kel and Kinny are something of marvelous brains, while we are the cogs.

The last responsibility essentially means, as members of helpstaff, it is our responsibility to welcome new members and make sure no story goes untold for too long. So if a thread is sad and lonely for a number of days to a week, we reply. Crowy tries, but Crowy is one person. Course this is an initiative I extend to all our lovely members, but please be aware that staff will be expected to hop on board with much enthusiasm and insanity. (With in human capability, of course.)
