Mare
`
Color and overall physical appearance:
She is a liver chestnut, a sooty brown with some definite golden undertones and a flaxen tipped mane and tail. She has a very defined yet dainty face, set high on a muscular neck. Her chest is broad, her body is toned and almost completely unscarred. Her gaits are a little unusual due to her breed, and when she moves her head bobs with each step giving her the appearance of being lame (normal for her, though) She's got a short, strong back and is relatively short
Height:
14 hands high
Markings:
No white markings, though her legs do darken to almost black similar to a bay's black points.
Personality
Seriah has been called many things, some of them seemingly contradictory: Aloof, brooding, intelligent, loyal, humorous, shy in social situations, manipulative, competitive, sentimental, short tempered, and even moody, although characteristically her breed has been known to be easy going and gentle. Her personality has never been predictable; it can seem as if several different beings inhabit one body as her preferences and reactions can change in the blink of an eye. All in all the best way to know her personality is through firsthand experience.

The Past:
Seriah comes from a line of competitive fox trotters, owned and selectively bred by humans. As a wedding present to a close friend overseas, Seriah's owners loaded her and two other young Fox trotters on a ship to be delivered. A week into the journey an electrical fire erupted, devouring everything in its path. It didn't take long for the fire to reach the belly of the ship, where the horses and their hay was kept. Seriah was the closest to the door, and thankfully one of the workers on the ship thought to open the door and unhook her halter from the rope that kept her from escaping the flames. The other horses were not so lucky. All the people on the ship evacuated into small rafts, leaving Seriah abandoned on the burning decks. She had jumped over the handrails and nearly drowned during her countless hours of swimming. Finally she had made it to land.
