As he galloped through the land his heart was becoming bluer and heavier. He came to the highest part of the Rocky Mountains his peaceful place but he felt anything but peace. He went over towards the clearing nearby and smiled lightly as he closed his eyes. This was the place where he had first told Munchie he loved her and where he had asked her to become his mate. When he opened his eyes he spotted the areas he had trained with his father. He let out another sigh before speaking in a normal voice which he knew no one could hear unless they were close by. " My father how am I to lead your legacy onwards as you did. I can barely keep up with Cimeno let alone the whole herd. Mother I took your advice to let my heart lead me and I found my true love my soul mate Munchie but she seems to disappear every time I speak with her. I need both of your strenth to help the lands get through the fire and the flood." He then turned his head over the lands and smiled lightly. It was spring once more and the grass was coming faster then it normally did. As he took in all the scents he let out a sigh how could he lead this herd alone. He hadn't seen Munchie since last summer and it was now spring once more.
