Trial traveled wearily in, still unsure if the fae had followed him or not. For a Moment he stopped, looking around for some place dry - like a cave or something. Blearily he blinked. looking around. He trudged on, feeling wet, but somewhat safer now that they - well at least he- had reached higher grounds. Pulling himself up the mountains was no easy task. Every now and then exhaustion tok him, and he stopped to look around. Finally as he was passing a big boulder, he noticed that there was a shadow going the wrong way...but no it was a cave enterance! Finally! Vocals let out a joyous winny and - wait a winny? why the heck did he do that? shrug, whatever. he padded carefully into the front most part of the cave, pupils dialated, trying to see the innerdepths of the cavern, and senses tingling, hight on alert. ooc: oy, I might be inconsistent with my posts this week, finals x.x

ooc: I'm out of school already. Woot! =-P
bic: Memory had followed Trial every step of the way, no matter how painful those steps were. Her muscles were weak but she kept going. Like this repetative motion thing. Her eyes were only half way open. Her Her head was lower than usual. When she heard the whinny she raised her head with difficulty. At the sight of the cave entrance she actually smiled a little bit. Memory followed him in a little but stopped. It was so dark in the cave. There could be anything hiding in there...

The rain came thrashing to the ground, sweeping huge boulders off their feet. She had returned. Finally to her home, oh her beloved home. Her crown liften uneasily as she caught scent of newcomers. Or horses she didn't recognize. Their scent followed to a huge cave that had built itself into one of the many floors of the rocky mountains. Lifitng her banner high she dug her talons into the rocks to keep her from sliding down. Her ebony velvet coat kept her well disguised on the mountains. The entrance to the cave was in her bearings and she danced along. Reaching the entrace she pondered on inside it. When she caught glimpse of a stag' and mare. Walking back a few dainty steps she gathered herself together and spoke proudly: I am Munchie. Lead mare of these mountains. May i ask why you have taken claim to this ole' cave? she gazed into their eyes. She had changed, a little. She was more stricter though still the loving mare. She doubted very much Freedom Moon had accepted them as he had not been around. Wet dust covered the damp entrace. Light could not be found. Not even the slightest trace.
Walking past the two horses she claimed the end wall. Scratching herself up and down it to let loose the mozzi's that clung to her coat and drank her red blood.

Lobes pricked as another fae ventured in, but as she did, they instantly went back. plume flicked in annoyance, and blank, yet somehow slightly offended look remained upon facade. " Good for you, lead mare that is. Might I ask since when I 'claimed' any part of these mountains?" Oricles held challenging expression in them. for, after all, he had made no announcement that he cliamed this land as his. He did not wait for an answer from the fae. "In case you have not noticd, the fires have resided tdue to a heavy amount of rain, Bodies of water are rising rapidly, especially the ocean, of which we were just in. All we sought was shelter, and we intend to leave it that way. We? Oh, and since when was this ...thing we? There never has been a WE, there never should be...oh..? and why not? she is kinda cute.....NO!! There never has been, there never needs to be. Besides, you hardley even know the fem. So? I do, know that she has followed me the whole day since our paths crossed, and that she rendomly decided to take a chance and trust me even when there was a chance she was just completely throwing her life away. Yes..but is that trust still there? The answer to that question was one that he did not yet have.. ooc: you are! lucky. this is my last week. x.x

Memory simply nodded. What he said. He had taken the words right out of her mouth. Her head was low again and her muscles were weak. They felt a little better now that she was not moving much, but she could still feel the pain. Memory's head was spinning as she tried to focus on the fae. Come on Memory! Her dizziness slowed and she was able to focus a little better. She looked at Trial and raised her head slightly. Why had she followed him? Because she had no where else to go and the ocean was getting higher? Perhaps. But maybe there was another reasoon. Oh don't be silly. What other reason could there be? Because she liked him? Please. You had to be a fool to like someone after just meeting them. ooc: I like reading the conflicts in his mind.

[OOC: When i said why have you claimed this cave it meant why have you resided basically, if you get my drift.
She walked forwards in annoyance. Incase you hadn't noticed but of course i informed you i am the lead mare and prefer to be spoken to in a proper tone. You have yet to be accepted so please try not to be so damn rude. shaking her hoof she dropped her crown, never had she been like this. Perhaps it was because of the fire catastrophy? She stepped forwards towards the two, shaking her head in dismay. Who did they think they were? Coming into a land which they did not belong to and mouth off like that?

Brow raised, but ebon brute said nothing; once again, ebon facade went blank. He made no apology, he made no sign of reconsenting either. yet there he remained. silent as the wind, yet as loud as a cricket in the fresh spring evening. you have yet to be accepted.... The fae's words echoed through his mind. Since when had he asked to join this herd? Since when had he decided to attempt to make a harem of his own? Since when had he suddenly been a social kind of guy? Never. He didn't know why he was here, or how or why he even got here...yet alone how he ended up with a fae traveling with him - and blindly trusting him throughut the whold day at that! What was his purpose, and why was it suddenly opposing everything he'd become and been throughout his entire life?
Ebon brute decided to check out the cave a little more. Lobes pricked Nostrils flaring, he walked along the wall of the cave, silently sucking in every scent, new or faintly and old. There were many scents, all old, probably a few seasons or so, some wolves had been in here, but they had moved on, there were several scents of other stags probably to have ruled these lands..or something of that sort at least.. The cave was big, but there were no other animals uncovered in the brute's search. The cave seemed alot smaller than it looked. It could probably fit a good sized harem in here if the time called for it. way in the back there was a small pool of water, now mostly filled with soggy soot, that clearly was a continuous running of some underground stream that conviently(sp?) rose in the cave, that could probably support many horses for a douple days if the weather called for it. Would this turmoil ever stop?

Freedom Moon walked towards them with a small smile on his face while looking at the three horses. He knew of only his mate Munchie but the others he knew not of. He then let out a small laugh as he noticed that Munchie was having some trouble with something that involved a proper tone. He just shook his head at that with another laugh while walking towards them before speaking to the other stallion. " If you like you can rest here I see you have already searched the cave for other animals. As you may already know there is a spring in the back of the cave but there is also one a few yards away that has fresher water. Their is grass alittle ways up from this cave." He said with a nod of his head in the directions he had mentioned before speaking agian. " I am Freedom Moon and if you don't wish to give me your names I will not push for them." He said while then looking over at Munchie and smiling " Having a rough day I could hear you about four yards back saying something about a proper tone." He said with a small laugh in his voice.

Whinnying happily as her love came by she nuzzled him on his maw. As he befriended the stallion she had taken disgust to she stamped her hoof in disappointment. Shaking her crown she walked slowly to the back of the cave and dipped her head into the small spring that flew up amongst the rocks and boulders. Walking back over to Freedom Moon she nickered softly: Freedom didn't you hear what that stag said?whilst chewing his mane. She pondered over towards the caves while she remembered Freedom's younger brother. Where your little brother? she asked him worriedly.

Freedom shook his head to the side " No I didn't hear what he said and Cimeno is probably just exploring the lands on his own." He said with a small smile while nuzzaling Munchie on the neck and then nibbling her mane. Then he whispered gently into her ear " Not all horses are kind of heart some just need some warming up to mlove. Show them patience even if they aggravate you." He said with a small laugh in his voice as he spoke.

Within the hazy darkness of the cave, the unknown ebon stag was growing impatient of all of this...slamm talk. Pinnaes pinned to crani ebon stag left the enclosure of the cavern. Once outside, the ebony brute gazed out upon the upchurned plains of the mountains. Dial lowered and stag outcast a breath unveiling the new grass begining to grow. the charred lands were grey, and still smotheredin ash from the fires that had rampaged the mainlands during the fall. The abnormally warm winter had begun and there was not yet any snow making it's way down the mountains. there was always snow settled upon the highest of the peaks during the winter, but this year there was no snow creeping it's way down the mountians. .
Ready to move on, the obsidian brute started to trek off, wondering aimlessly around the mountains, exploring. But he did no go far, he merely went to the stream that was probably the cleanest thing in the mountians. He drank deeply from the cool and fridgid water, waiting for something to hapen.

Mare of the night was on alert as she stood tired and hungry in the lonesome cave. Auds pinned back as she heard something travel across the cave. Peeping out and looking directly down she spotted a midnight wondering horse. She had finished her speech with the horses up here but she knew because of the echo's she'd be able to hear what they were saying from down below. Nuzzling Freedom's kissers she made quick way towards the bottom of the mountains where the horse was standing.
The shall stream trickled fastly by. Sun peeking through the thick grey clouds and managing to glaze the stream. Pools forwarded onto the horse that stood in front. Male. Her ebony coat glided throughout the thick thicket of trees that clawed at her coat. Talons gripped the earth tightly. Slight damp. No completely damp as her talons gently began to ooze underneath the earth face. She made onto a gallop as rain began to fall. Muddy stilts soon back to the original true black she was. Star looked black but that as well began to show it's origional white as the rain began to pour. Heavier and heavier. She galloped quickly, the trees were so thick it would close most of the rain out and she was true. The old tear drop would reach her but nothing more. Slowing her pace into a walk she dipped her tiara into the stream. Taking it back out and shaking it like slow motion. Peering underneath her fringe that had purposely covered her eyes she smiled and nodded: I am Munchie lead mare of these lands. And may i ask what dubbance you were given?
