OOC; So Shadow, I think you should post once more to say if Apollos' last attack made contact without making anymore retaliations, and then I s'pose we can judge ^^

Jinx watched as the steed stopped as Jinx had done and stared back, but just when he though it was all over, the stalli, whipped his hind legs around. Jinx snorted in surprise but he was angered again, as the attack missed him. His zinniths laid flat against his neck once more, and his powerful muscles rippling under his coat, which was damp with the sweat of his effort.

He lifted himself into a rear as the steed whipped another attack his way. It had just missed him, but he felt the stalli's hooves against the longer hairs on his chest. Jinx snorted in anger, came down on all fours the shot back into a rear. Leaping across the sand he turned with the bush(forest) to his backside. His orbs blazed, the adrenaline still pumping through his veins.

This battle had been going much differently than the one he'd had with his father. He had been wiser and stronger than Jinx was then and had put his son back in his place within only a matter of minuets. Since Jinx was younger than his brother, Fell, he had to fight for the right to rule, and to prove he was just as strong as his brother; for most had doubted him. Mostly because he had almost always been in trouble in some way. First it had been the farmer who had chased him away from his cattle's grazing fields with a gun, hen it was the cougar, who had nearly pounced on him, and who knows what else had happened when he had lived with the herd.

But that was then, and this was now, he stood in front of his opponent. The sands shifted and covered his hooves, he could feel it's heat in the frog of his hooves, though the chill of winter wasn't far off, even though the island was a tropical one. Jinx continued to stair down the steed. If one where to look deep into his eyes they would see he wanted this to stop, but on the surface, he was full of a rage, and a desire to win the right to this land.

OOC; After going through the posts extensively and ripping apart the little details Grace (Jillian) and I believe that Apollos is the fair winner. Although it was pretty close according to my scoring system, not sure about Grace.
This was actually pretty hard, the damage to both wasn't too drastic. But, yup. Sorry to Jinx, who'll have to try again, or can in fact, scurry to the Desert if he likes.
