Kurime blinked at the beauty surrounding her. She was... amazed. The small quarterhorse said to no one in particular, "This is... beautiful..." She nickered a light laugh, and motioned her head toward a very shady tree. It's elegant limbs covered a good deal of the ground from the harsh and battering sun. She didn't miss that hill-top thingy as much as her friend, though it did have such a lovely view and nice atmosphere... Kurime said to Snowflake, "Look, there's your shady elm tree." She noted that the grass and earth beneath her hooves was soft, springy, and offered a feeling of sturdiness at the same time. This was truely home.

Freedom walked over towards them with a smile on his face. " How do you like your new home?" He asked while looking around the lands. He then smiled back towards Kurime. " I hope these lands have everything that you will ever need here." He then lowered his head down and began to graze on the grass around him. He was happier here in the mountains then at any other land like the shores or the island.

The mare quickly 4 beated over to Freedom. Giving him a quick nuzzle in greeting and nodding to the new mare, she snorted. Concern and worry was writen all over her face as she tossed her head around. She wanted her Feather back, and her darling Tsunami. But he was missing, she hadn't seen hi9m in weeks! Was he dead, had he been captured? She wanted her beloveds back now! Freedom! Its Tsunami and Cimeno! There missing, I haven't seen them in weeks! Snorting, she was crying a river in her heart. But horses could not cry. She was breaking away, she needed her love now! OCC|| Fullmoon, I was wondering if you could bring Feather into this thread.

A smile plastered gainst’ the ebon’ femora’s face as she watched Freedom Moon return with two new mares. At once she set sail below where they walked. Though she trotted, not like her usual scurrying self. She wanted to make a good first impression, half the herd were no longer here… many dead other lost in the terrific blaze of flames that would stain her memory forever. And the four horses she had met earlier? Where were they? And Cimeno, Freedom’s colt brother had also disappeared. She had to talk to Freedom Moon about that. A sharp drop lay before Munchie and peering over she could see the horses though only as colored dots. Reaching the mares and stallion she finally consulted Freedom Moon as he grazed over their lands. Freedom! It’s so good to see you! she nuzzled him on the velvet fondly before turning towards the mares. Dipping her tiara slightly she showed signs of respect and no harm. I am Munchie, mare of these lands, I am please to make your aqquatince. She moved over slightly towards the less timid mare that spoke of two horses. I am sorry but Tsunami is not here. Infact I have never actually met him In person. Perhaps he is near the shores? but she stopped. After all this mare surely was speaking to Freedom Moon and Munchie felt she did not want to intrude.

Freedom nuzzled them back with worry written on his face at Fall's words. He quickly turned his head towards her " I haven't seen them since Cimeno got here and when you introduced Storm to his nephew." He admittied while then nuzzaling Munchie " This is our new herd members I just led them here from the cliffs." He said while then looking around the lands once more for his brother and Tsunami.

Kurime stood next to Snowflake, dipping her muzzle respectfully to the two other mares. She didn't know what to do, having never heard of this Tsunami. Quite clearly, his absence was disturbing already all the horses she'd met belonging to Freedom's herd. Kurime didn't want to mess up the tender atmosphere with her insane clumsiness, so she settled to merely shuffling her hooves in an undecided manner, careful to not betray a random snort at any time. She had to make a good impression on the mares to prove she wasn't a coward... Though I am, great big dodgin' one, too... She accused herself somberly.

No! He's not dead! He can't be! I have to find my son! Munchie help me! You of all horses must know that I have been a member of this herd since Freedom has been King! Snorting, she reared up dantily but she was still in a frenzy. But little did she know that the Gaia had starting to take its toll. Screaming out in pain she found that she could not scream anymore. But what, what was happening to her. I will tell you. The gaia was destroying her soundbox, tearing it up into tiny shreds. From then on she could never speak again, but she had to see Storm. Her brother, her only brother. For her half brother Tequila had beeen killed in the battle of the Shores. Opening her mug she tryed to let words out. ........................................

Freedom looked up towards Fall when she reared up and then he noticed afew of the things that had bothered him. " Fall did Summer have the Gaia when she was expecting with you?" He asked her after a small while. He had just gotten over a small bit of the Gaia's lasting affects afew days ago. He then looked towards Kurime " Don't worry about first impressions. Just make yourself comfortable here then you can worry about impressions."

Kurime bowed her head at having her stiffness noticed. She did as Freedom asked, but noticed that Fall was in a fiery rage. She did not know the full detail of the horror that was in every horse's mind besides herself and Snowflake, and was full of pity. Kurime didn't know that she had intruded in such a hard time. She shamefully started to eat the grass, not feeling the taste in her mouth. She was too scared to perhaps kindle the mare's rage further. The little blades turned to ash, and she tried to blend in with the mountain.

((meep, i am rather late, aren't i.... erm... -dashes in with Feather!!-))
Snowflake regaurded the frantic mare with distain. She looked rather insane... So the foal or whoever was missing, what did that matter? Those too young to leave their mothers were found weak and annoying by the white mare, and she knew nothing of a mother's devotion. Silently she stood by Kurime and watched, trying to stop herself from smirking. I will start out well here. So, I am going to worry about first impressions no matter what you say, just because I don't want to end up back at that stupid hill!
He walked the worn dirt paths, the same paths where countless others had traveled. Had any of them ever been, like him, unsure of where their mate's loyalty lay? Feather loved Fall, he knew that. And she had said that she also loved him...so what real reason had he to take what her brother had said so seriously? Storm'd only said to watch and be careful. So, that meant that he could have easily just been trying to make Raven's Feather uneasy, because he didn't want to let his sister go so quickly. But how those words had been said...and how it had been mentioned of her other mates. That she had left...? He pushed away the feelings that swarmed in him. They could not be listened to. They could not be true. Together they had born a son, Tsunami. If that was not clear enough of their love, then what was? Feather could almost hear Fall's voice as he thought of her. He smiled, her image coming bitter sweetly into his head. He'd not seen either of them for a while... But then he heard her voice again, and the name of 'Tsunami' spoken. Spoken with fright and confusion... His head spun around, knowing that that time it had not been in his head, Fall was here somewhere close, and there was something wrong with his son... The general area pin pointed, Feather raced off, crying out her name. "Fall? Fall!" Now he could see her, standing with the lead and three others. "Fall...! What...what happened? Where is Tsunami...?" he demanded, panting heavily as he came up beside her. And upon seeing that her voice was turning hoarse, and dissappearing, he froze. "Fall...? Are you alright?" he questioned, nuzzling her, trying to calm her. Had she just been screaming too much? Raven's Feather stood there with her, mind going numb, not sure of anything. Not being able to do anything... Helpless, and falling fast into the blackness of unknowing. His mate was sick with terror, frenzied with it. And his only son vanished...

Kurime looked at Snowflake. She was so cool and calm... Do I really have so much to learn? She thought miserably. Straightening, she asked Snowflake softly, "I don't think we belong here anymore, Snowflake... where should we go to?" The vulnerable quarterhorse wasn't a leader, more a follower, and was unsure of what to do. She desperately wanted to flee, to disperse off to another place, but she wasn't sure where to go...

Freedom looked back towards Kurime " You don't have to leave here. We are just worried over two foals that went missing here my younger brother and Tsunami, Fall's son." He said while then looking up to spot Feather. He nodded his head towards him " It is good to see you once more Feather." He said while then looking around and then looked up to Fall. " I will go look around for them in the near by lands. I will be right back." He said before taking off towards the Cliffs.
